i'm actually so fucking sick of zionists using phrases such as "Was it worth it, Hamas?" cause literally what the fuck are y'all yapping about??? Israel has been indiscriminately bombing gaza in front of our eyes since last October, Israel has murdered more than 30 thousands Palestinians within 5 months, Israel is forcefully starving gaza, Israel is the one committing war crimes everyday, Israel is continuing genocide and ethnic cleansing. Israel. is. illegally. occupying. Palestine.
we all know who are the perpetrators here. and zionists can't gaslight people into "hamas started it" bullshit anymore. everyone is actually sick of Israel's dumb colonialism propaganda where they just repeat same old tactics โhow dare you palestinians resist us, after we have your stolen land, freedom, human rights and subjugated your people under fascist colonial regime.โ
Israel carry out atrocities in broad daylight and then go ahead blame Palestinian resistance for the said act of savagery they've performed, "O their audacity!" indeed!

Lately thereโs been a new shift that has affected me personally and that I feel is a potentially harmful force in our industry, and as your resident loud person, I feel the need to bring it up. And that is the unregulated world of private equity coming in and buying up our music as if it is real estate. As if itโs an app or a shoe line. This just happened to me without my approval, consultation, or consent.ย
After I was denied the chance to purchase my music outright, my entire catalog was sold to Scooter Braunโs Ithaca Holdings in a deal that Iโm told was funded by the Soros Family, 23 Capital, and the Carlyle Group. Yet to this day none of these investors have ever bothered to contact me or my team directly. To perform their due diligence on their investment. On their investment in me. To ask how I might feel about the new owner of my art. The music I wrote. The videos I created. Photos of me, my handwriting, my album designs. And of course, Scooter never contacted me or my team to discuss it prior to the sale or even when it was announced.
Iโm fairly certain he knew exactly how I would feel about it though. And let me just say that the definition of the toxic male privilege in our industry is people saying, โBut heโs always been nice to me,โ when Iโm raising valid concerns about artists and their rights to own their music. And of course heโs nice to you. If youโre in this room, you have something he needs.
The fact is that private equity is what enabled this man to think, according to his own social media post, that he could buy me. But Iโm obviously not going willingly. Yet the most amazing thing was to discover that it would be the women in our industry who would have my back and show me the most vocal support at one of the most difficult times, and I will never, ever forget it. Like, ever.
For all my fellow Gaylors/Kaylors out there still holding on through these difficult, lonely, and uncertain timesโฆ

Itโs bizarre how my feed is all Tortured Poets Department, and people actually being tortured in Palestine.
Itโs hard to take Miss Swiftsโ misery seriously this time. Your privilege is showing girlie.

When I actually think about it, the idea that most celebrities-- who are often just the world's most successful theater kids-- are primarily monogamous and straight is patently absurd.
You've got some of the most attractive people in the world, who often have significant access to wealth and substances, and their jobs very often involve congregating together while scantily clad (and under the influence). Many are paid to convincingly feign falling in love with one another, and often, the line between showmance and romance is incredibly thin.
Many of these celebrities can and do make enough money that they do not need to marry someone to keep a stable roof over their head.
Many of these celebrities also do eventually write tell all autobiographies, where they detail lives that include multiple lovers, often same gender ones.
And every time someone comes out of the closet, they tell a shockingly similar tale: at at least one juncture they have been told they need to present as straight and monogamous to continue having a career. Their management recommended arranging a pr or lavender relationship, and very often, they did participate in at least one pr relationship. Many also admit that they've had a number of famous same gender partners who they can't disclose the names of because those partners are still in the closet.
And realistically, if you've read even one book about the sewing circle or scotty bowers or hollywood's queer history, the patterns become impossible to ignore.
I also need so many more people to understand that Whitney Houston's close friends believe she would still be alive today if she would'nt have been forced to break up with her longtime companion Robyn Crawford. That allowed Bobby Brown and all the terrible harm he caused Whitney into her life.
I think about what Chely Wright said, too; about how many closeted celebrities end up as suicides, where no one ever figures out the motive. I also think about how common it is for closeted people to turn to substances to self medicate, and how common that is in celebrities too.
We are oh-so-quick to blame a celebrity's lack of willpower or addictive personality or familial propensity for why they struggle with substances or end their own life, but rarely do we stop and think: how many more beloved celebrities would still be with us today if they didn't have to pretend to be someone they're not? If they could freely and openly be with the person or persons they loved (or just play the field if commitment isn't their thing), how much shorter would the list of famous suicides and famous drug-related deaths be? How many fewer cases of alcohol-linked cancer, or accidents where alcohol was a key contributing factor?
How many queer heroes have we been denied, both by never knowing they were part of our community, and by having their life terminated prematurely?
I donโt understand why people are upset with JK Rowling, like why does anyone take her opinions about gender identity seriously? she is uneducated, not an intellect in any way, she writes make believe stories for CHILDREN about magic and other made up shit. She is not intelligent and doesnโt deserve the kind of attention and consideration sheโs got on these issues sheโs chosen to wage war against. Leave it alone JK, stick to writing your make believe and keep your head out of affairs that concerns actual humans!
Hostages tortured to death. Parents executed in front of their children. Doctors beaten. Babies murdered. Sexual assault weaponised. No, not Hamas crimes. This is part of an ever-growing list of documented atrocities committed by Israel in the five months since 7 October โ quite separate from the carpet bombing of 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza and a famine induced by Israelโs obstruction of aid. And yet while the western establishment media has been chock full of the most lurid allegations of savagery directed against Hamas, sometimes with little or no supporting evidence, Israeli atrocities are excused or quickly forgotten. Accusations against Hamas are endlessly reheated to paint a picture of a supremely dangerous and bestial militant group, in turn rationalising the slaughter and starvation of Gazaโs population to โeradicateโ it as a terrorist organisation. But equally barbarous atrocities committed by Israel โ not in the heat of battle, but in cold blood โ are treated as unfortunate, isolated incidents that cannot be connected, that paint no picture, that reveal nothing of import about the military that carried them out. If Hamasโ crimes were so savage and sadistic they still need to be reported months after they took place, why does the establishment media never feel the need to express equal horror and indignation at equivalent or worse acts of cruelty and sadism being inflicted by Israel on Gaza โ not five months ago, but right now? Israel's torture of doctors, its sexual assaults of Palestinian women, it's leaving premature babies to die after its forces stormed a hospital. Where is the outrage? This is part of a pattern of behaviour by the western media that leads to only one possible deduction: Israelโs five-month-long attack on Gaza is not being reported. Rather, it is being selectively narrated โ and for the most obscene of purposes. Through consistent and glaring failures in their coverage, establishment media โ including supposedly liberal outlets, from the BBC and CNN to the Guardian and New York Times โ have smoothed the way for Israel to carry out mass slaughter in Gaza, what the World Court has assessed as plausibly a genocide. The role of the media has not been to keep us, their audiences, informed about one of the greatest crimes in living memory. It has been to buy time for US President Joe Biden to keep arming his most useful of client states in the oil-rich Middle East, and to do so without damaging his prospects for re-election in Novemberโs US presidential vote. If Russian President Vladimir Putin was a madman and a barbarous war criminal for invading Ukraine, as every western media outlet agrees, what does that make Israeli officials, when every one of them supports far worse atrocities in Gaza, directed overwhelmingly at civilians? And more to the point, what does that make Biden and the US political class for materially backing Israel to the hilt: sending bombs, vetoing demands for a ceasefire at the United Nations, and freezing desperately needed aid? Worrying about the optics, the president expresses his discomfort, but he carries on helping Israel regardless. While western politicians and commentators worry about some imaginary existential threat those brief events of five months ago pose to the nuclear-armed state of Israel, Israel is quite literally wiping Gaza off the map day by day, quite undisturbed.

Nope. No. Youโre wrong. Color photos have been around since the late 1800s there are a bunch of full color photos of MLK. The us govt and educational system just doesnโt show us because they want us to push back the civil rights movement and distance institutionalized racism from todayโs society.
Here are just a few of many photos of MLK in FULL color. This wasnโt that long ago. This is RECENT history. Segregation, the terrorizing of black communities, the brutality isnโt old - it is still present.
When my dad was a little boy, my grandfather was one of the ministers who marched with MLK on Washington. He grew up hearing stories about the great Dr. king and the differences he made BUT he still saw the blatant discrimination against black folks and other people of color (hell he experienced it himself). My dad was a kid watching MLK. My DAD. My grandfather who only passed away about six years ago MARCHED with him. This isnโt twelve generations ago. THIS IS RECENT HISTORY.
