the public of mha piss me off so bad like they ask for too much from the heroes. they're mad the heroes didn't do more to stop the attacks knowing that multiple heroes lost their lives. they're mad that because of public pressure heroes are retiring. they're mad they're doing too much and not enough.. like they just clearly dont know what they want and are blaming the figureheads that are risking their lives and families to keep the masses safe. they're doing everything they can to protect these people just for them to turn on them after they suffered a terrible loss. the public is acting like they lost on purpose !! and they're not putting enough blame on the people who were causing most of the destruction in the first place !! and then the villains too oh my god. getting mad when the pros take it too far even tho they're pushing the pros too far. yall are going out of your ways to do heinous things on a city-country level but get mad when the pros try to stop you before you can start ?? you can't say they're proving your point when you're pushing them to do things they don't want to !!

Repost of Instagram post by alessandra_sanguinetti:

β€œIn 2004 I worked as an intern in Newsweek and had to go through the wires coming in from the Middle East.

The Iraq war was raging. Israel was committing its routine violations and killings.

The images were devastating and unequivocally condemning of both the USA and Israel, but I remember the editors would reject all my picks and demand images of burnt cars or vague images of destruction.

So I brought a hard drive and collected everything they didn't publish.

It was my first live glimpse of the lack of ethics or integrity in most US media.

Not the journalists on the ground, but of the senior editors making the calls - in their self important glass cubicles.

And no, to the cynics out there..it's not all too complicated to discuss on social media.

Social media is the only reason we know what's happening in Palestine.

And the only reason mainstream news has to keep up and sprinkle some actual news now and then.

Meanwhile we are seeing much less footage coming out of Gaza - Israel has been killing off all the journalists.

This is terrifying.”
