When you hear about something that sounds like xenofiction/has critter characters but then you look into it and they're at most just humans with extremely minimal allusions in their designs to being bugs/foxes/cephalopods
(This isn't about anything in particular btw, I just love xenofiction and have previously been disappointed when hearing about media involving non-human characters, which I've then looked into and are disappointed to find said non-human characters still act like humans and never or very sporadically appear in a critter form smh)
I keep thinking about this little guy a lot (why am I hyperfixated on these shitty fried lipid corporation cartoons god damn!!!!)

Oh wow, I’ve actually not heard/seen many recordings of red foxes making these kinds of growl-like vocalisations they are capable of before. Really fascinating footage!
A new (and sadly mangy) fox turned up last night and The Unit was not happy. Managed to capture one of the few vocalisations I've never got on camera before: a growl!
Red foxes don't really growl in the way dogs and wolves do, but an unhappy fox will occasionally make a guttural rumbling sound that's basically the fox equivalent of a growl. It's one of the rarer fox vocalisations to hear so pretty happy to have got it on camera!
This is also quite an interesting piece of footage as the other fox is female and it's pretty uncommon for male foxes to show aggression/hostility towards females. I wonder if it's because she has mange as I have noticed foxes can be more hostile towards mangy ones to try and drive them away.
Cat and Dog meet a pair of strange winged beings, seemingly also fox-like in form and yet somehow familiar in a way that is vague and beyond description…
(Context for this one: the characters on the right, named Spii-Ba and Spii-Bu, are the original basal forms of Cat and Dog as characters; I first starting drawing them when I was 11, and as Cat and Dog are their modern forms, so to speak! They were from a cheesy Pokemon/Digimon knock-off comic I liked drawing back then. Anyway drawing this was cathartic and fun, ngl)

Whilst I'm actually not hoping for a remake of Explorers of Sky (I adore the game as it is and don't want it in 3D tbh), I know I am unfortunately going to cling to the most narrow and desperate hope of a new PMD game on the Switch (it's been almost a decade since the latest original game, PLS CHUNSOFT)
Then when it turns out the presents stream just shows nothing but Legends/Gen 10 (maybe)/mobile games or app bullshit I will have this image ready for my own inevitable yet very clearly foreseen disappointment. I have done for the past however many years now, lol

I normally don’t announce updates to my website on my socials, but I wrote an iceberg chart-styled piece about the original 1999 Digimon World game on the PlayStation. It’s one of my most personally important and beloved pieces of media (I think playing it as a kid definitely hasd some sort of monumental influence on my critter brain)!!
I’m planning to update it more down the line, as there’s some other topics I am planning to add to it once I’ve researched them accordingly. There also may still be some typos or errors I may have missed (which if so, I will rectify in due course).
But yeah, Digimon World!!!!!! YAY!!!! :3
