For the ones who only saw the award video - this is like, a 122% better than what happened in the production on stage.

On stage they just. Took two ends of a rope. And pulled a bit. À la whip-pulling from the German staging. But with a think rope. Except of that no eye contact or touching whatsover save for ONE moment when Der Tod stroked the cheek of a kneeling Rudolf with the butt of the gun

(@fitzrove about Rudolf - I suspect he has a condition, because one side of his face is like "frozen"; especially visible in interviews)

Hi there! The Dutch Musical Awards were yesterday evening, and they always include some performances from the nominated shows and what else is in the theatre at the moment.
