Sometime in the future, after the dust has settled
(una cancioncita)
Tamsyn Muir really just sat down and wrote a book from the pov of the character least qualified to have any fucking clue about what’s going on and then proceeded to make sure each successive book was written from the perspective of an even less qualified bitch. Like we go from a jock filling in last minute at an international science competition, to a traumatized teenager with a DIY lobotomy trying to keep up with a bunch of 10,000 year old demigods, to a SIX MONTH OLD operating in a TERRORIST CELL. Pray for Alecto y’all, homegirl doesn’t stand a chance in hell of understanding the story she’s in.

the unwanted guest made an unrepairable damage to my soul
she's never kissed anybody like this. she's glad it's shara. nobody else would have felt important enough.

it's been said before but damn. gotta hand it to tlt for not just the queer rep, but having the sort of hyperspecific meaningful queer rep that means we can see, reflected in the page, the sheer deranged manner of not readily being able to distinguish platonic and romantic attraction, pining unsuccessfully over the same person for like a frankly embarrassing number of successive years, craving attention even more than admiration, possessing negative rizz, etc
im reading dracula right now and there are total plotholes in this book like they never mention when he founds monster high nor do they ever mention draculaura i just think bram stoker didnt follow the source material very well he could have done a better job
