Misanthropic
Misanthropy - A deep dislike of human kind
A/n: Changbin needs more love :'(
Warnings: none. Fluff, pet names, pretending to dislike Changbin, anxious reader, for all genders
You were a loner. It wasn't a secret. You had a scowl on whenever you were near people. It kept them from addressing you, and that was your goal.
You hated people.
It was quite ironic, especially since you worked with more than you cared for. JYP studios drafted you as a staff member for a group of male idols, which meant you made bank.
It also meant you were with people twenty four seven. Money was more important to you than your comfort, it seems.
This didn't go unnoticed by your coworkers.
They often called you greedy and a bitch due to your attitude and behaviors. You never bothered responding to them, not wanting to dig yourself into a hole. You also were above such childish antics.
You barely spoke, and have only ever spoke to Bangchan and Jeongin, not daring to speak to the rest. The boys were who made you nervous.
It was a normal day for you, except it started off horrible. You spilt your coffee on your shirt before even walking into the building, a person bumping into you.
You hissed at them with words you shouldn't have used, scaring them off quickly.
Once you got to work, all anyone said when talking to you was commenting on your shirt and choice of drink.
Snarky comments reached your ears from different voices, and you were sure that anyone that looked at you saw the steam fuming from your ears.
Your teeth clenched together when someone bothered you, not wanting to snap like you did the guy that made you spill your coffee.
You needed this job.
Today was a SKZ episode filming, so you were helping set up the forty or so cameras everywhere you could, ignoring the chatter surrounding you.
It was a shame you couldn't listen to music.
You would obviously listen to Stray Kids, but only because you liked them. You didn't feel obligated.
The boys were messing around, making it difficult to concentrate on the wires pooled at your feet.
Changbin noticed you were more tense than normal.
He had taken an interest in your ever since you became employed with them.
He loved the way you held your ground, and how passionate you were at this job while everyone else was laid back.
He saw when you took leadership when you were frustrated. How you snapped your fingers when no one listened to you.
But today, it looked like you could rip someone's head off with one glare.
It frightened him.
He saw you gripping the camera stilts with the threat of pain as you forced them together with a pleading look in your eyes.
You were angry.
Changbin wanted to know why. He wanted to know who set you off. He wanted to pound them into the ground since they made you fragile.
He wanted to see your light smile.
"Hey y/n! Why aren't you done yet? We're about to start filming," another staff called at you, making you freeze.
You looked around at everyone else still setting up, and then back at the boys who were still messing around.
It was your breaking point. His condescending tone broke you.
"Seriously? Get off your phone you dick! I've been working all day while everyone else is busy making snide comments at me and my damn stained shirt. So what? Shit happens!" You yelled, storming off after you threw the metal bars in his direction, barely grazing his calf. He flinched.
You left the room only to collapse in the hallway just outside, grateful no one followed.
You knew you probably just blew it, but you couldn't help it. Your temper had never been the greatest.
You closed your eyes as your breathed deeply, drifting slightly.
Changbin came out not that long after, pausing when he saw your still frame sitting against the wall, your knees pushed up to your chest, your head tilted back.
"Y/n?" It's his first time talking to you, but he loved the way your name sounded on his lips. "You okay, jagi?"
"Don't call me that," you scoff at him, opening your eyes to look at him.
He was standing in front of you, a concerned look on his face. It almost made you feel sick.
"Sorry," He apologized while sitting with his back against the wall opposite of you.
"It's fine. You just don't know me enough to call me that. Manners," You ramble, not really comfortable talking with the idols much.
You didn't mind the guys. If it were just you and tem, you think your anger would be in control. But the pestering staff. Your a ticking time bomb.
"What happened?" He asked, fumbling with the hem of his shirt, wrinkling it with his actions.
"What do you mean?" You ask back, eyes unfocussed, a dot on the floor grasping your attention.
"Coffee? Hot chocolate? What do you drink that's so dark?" He points at his shirt where the stain is on yours.
"Sorry I can't enjoy Americanos like you and the boys," you grin, covering it with your legs.
"I'm not gonna judge you, y/n. I like the sugary taste with extra pumps of syrup...don't tell Hyunjin," He whisper yelled to you, making you giggle suddenly.
Changbin decided it was his new favorite sound.
"So you cheat, basically?" You smirk, raising a brow at him.
"Yeah," He laughed, both of you sitting silently for a few minutes before he snapped, making you jump.
"I have something for you, wait here!" He jumped up, leaving before you could question him.
When he came back, he looked slightly out of breath.
"I hate running," he scoffed, tossing something that landed in front of you. "Here,"
You grabbed it, watching as it unfolded in your palm.
It was a shirt. One of his, actually. It was one you recognized well. You had seen him wear it often, and it made your heart flutter.
"It's my favorite," he stated, you turned to look at him.
"I know. You wore it last week in the community vlog-" you gulp. "Thank you, Binnie," you whisper, tugging it over your own ruined shirt.
While it was over, underneath, away from his eyes, you stripped your soiled shirt, pulling the entire cloth through your left armhole.
Fully changed, you stood with a light smile, making Changbin swoon over how cute the smile was paired with his large shirt over your small body.
"So you can call me Binnie, but I can't call you jagi? What world do we live in?" He grinned, taking your shirt from your hands.
You decided to let your attitude show for the better with some humor.
"One where the women rule," you grin back playing with the hem of the borrowed shirt.
His face brightened, relieved that your able to lighten up around him.
"One where you rule," He muttered, unsure if you heard him. His ears and neck were flushed as he stares at you.
"You know, most people suck. You aren't so bad, Bin," you giggle, pulling him into an unexpected hug. "Thank you."
He stood in shock before wrapping his arms around you, squeezing.
"Your welcome, jagi," he responded.
"I think I could get used that, I guess." You laugh when you pulled back.
"Yes, my queen/king," Changbin mocked your previous claim, but believe that you could be the one to rule his heart.
Skz: 3RACHA
Vocalracha - Danceracha
Summary: Their unique abilities and how they affect people around them.
Bang Chan: Pain Transfer
Chan would have a natural instinct to others emotions, especially his members. So when he finds that he can relieve them of their inner turmoil and doubts, even if it's temporary, he makes it his main mission.
All he needs is the slightest touch to see if someone was in pain, whether it be mental or physical. To take it from them though? He needs to be holding on longer.
On a daily basis without the members realizing, he checks in with them, brushing his fingers against his own or just plain out hugging them from behind.
He needs to know that they are at peace to be their best selves and idols.
He's constantly helping Han, due to his anxiety. And although it's released to him, he knows how to keep it under wraps.
Changbin: Light Absorption
We all know that Changbin gets embarrassed easily and turns red on a daily basis, right?
But what if he didn't turn red?
What if his skin cells absorbed the surrounding light, inflating like fire flies, making his skin glow so bright it would be difficult to look directly at him?
When he'd get embarrassed, he'd look away with his down turned smile and shine brighter than the sun.
It would happen more often than not, and because his cells would have the affinity to absorb light anyway, he would always shine slightly.
He would look even more breath taking on camera, his skin appearing whiter than it should be.
Han: Fruit eyes and Glowing Tattoos
Han is a natural enigma. He could be all over the place, and then nowhere at once. It was a skill.
When he got his tattoos, they were normal. Nothing out of the ordinary.
But one day, he woke up, and his vision stung, eyes watering with a citrussy scent lingering in the air.
He rushed to the sink, the blurred reflection stared back, except something was different.
Parts of his body were glowing orange.
More specifically, where his tattoos were.
He used water to flush his eyes, only to be met with orange yet again. Except... Oranges?
Why were there fruit in his eyes?
He touched them as he would for contacts, and the surface still felt like an eye should, but he wasn't wearing contacts.
What was going on?
He went to Chan, and he could feel the youngers distress. He reassured him that it was okay, that none of the members would be bothered or judge him.
From them on, he was orange quokka.

I know this isn't my best but I just really loved the idea
Warnings: language, mentions of drowning, passing out, sharks, angst
You often went fishing on your own. It was one of your favorite pass times, seeing as you grew up on an island.
It was a small but loving community, and you found solace in it's silence.
You never killed something on purpose, always throwing your catches back into the water.
There was a group of guys swarming around the rent a boat business you came to once a week, and you found yourself scoffing when you were placed on a larger rent a boat with the group.
"Sorry, y/n. Your boat is in the shop. A hole was found in the bottom. But this way, it's a lot cheaper for you,"
John said, awkwardly scratching at his nape.
You rolled your eyes, getting on the boat. The guys mostly kept their distance, too busy playing around with their rods, getting the hook stuck in one of their hoods.
They were immature, and extremely loud and lewd.
Ad the boat drifted into deeper territory, they all started shoving one another, making the vessel shake. Your balance faltered, and you nearly dropped your rod into the water.
"Hey! Do you mind? You scared off my catch, you pricks," you yelled at them, pacing towards the blonde haired boy.
"What are you gonna do about it, princess? If you didn't want to have fun, you should have gotten on a different boat,"
You scoffed.
"Fishing is me having fun, asshole. Your the ones preventing me from doing so," you turned, about to stride towards your side of the vessel when suddenly you felt your shoulders caged.
"If you wanna catch fish so bad, go fetch," you heard the voice say behind you.
Suddenly, the strong grip led you towards the edge, a strong shove sending you overboard.
You yelled as you felt the cold water nip at your skin, the tide engulfing you as you thrashed.
Your head bobbed above water, and you heard the sickening laughs of the teens above you.
The boat drifted off, leaving you stranded in the depths of the sea.
It was miles from the island, you wouldn't make it if you attempted swimming.
Still, despicable knowing that, your survival instincts made you swim, struggle with the push of the waves.
You pushed yourself for what felt like hours, your vision blurring as you inhaled salt water, the burn keeping you alert. Your limbs felt as if they were on fire despite the freezing water surrounding you.
You felt your eyes closing against your will, your body stilling as you floated, exhausted. Black was all you saw as you felt your brain turning to mush, a large crash of the sea slamming itself onto your body, pushing you below the surface.
You woke up, startled, coughing aggressively. You felt the water swishing in your lungs. You lunged forward, feeling it creep up your esophagus, spitting it out. The salt made it burn.
After you were done hacking up bits of the sea, your eyes adjusted to your unfamiliar surroundings.
It was almost like a nook, the ones you would see in the movies behind a waterfall. The rocks were moist and glistening, and a soft sound of water hitting water filled your ears. There was also a pit filled with water a few feet from you.
Your clothes were damp, and your back ached from laying on stone. You weren't sure for how long.
Wait. How did you end up here?
You looked around again, noticing no other life than you and a few bugs.
Splash!
You whipped your head back to the body of water, noticing a large fin smacking back down, the stray water hitting your exposed legs.
You got up to sit on your knees, glancing into the water.
What you saw frightened you.
Despite the large tail you just saw, when you peered at the figure, you saw a human-like form.
It was blurry from the waves, but you saw a pale skinned boy with light blonde hair, his figure shaking with the tide. His pale body seemed to end near his waist, the color darkening immediately to a dark gray.
But that wasn't what scared you.
It was his eyes. They glowed yellow underneath the water.
You jolted back when he appeared to be rising to the surface, your breath quickening.
You scuffed your knee against the jagged rocks that made up the ground you sat on. You winced, eyes drifting immediately to your fresh wound.
Your mind was still fuzzy from the pressure of the water and new found pain on your leg that you didn't notice the creature coming out of the water.
"Hey! Careful, you could really do some damage," you heard the voice say.
His voice was deep. And had a thick accent to it, compared to the people in town.
You were so surprised. Surely, his top half looked human, but you didn't expect him to be able to communicate.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked again.
When you finally looked at him, you saw he was plopped at the edge of the rock where it met the water.
There was no shallow parts there, just a straight dive into the deep.
"What?" You were still confused about the whole situation, suddenly wondering if you were dreaming.
"Are you alright? Do you know your name?" His gaze turned into concern, looking around for what? You didn't know.
"I'm fine, I think...I'm y/n," you stutter, suddenly feeling cold.
"Ah. A pretty name. I'm Felix. You look hungry," he observed, bringing his finger out to poke your knee.
You flinched, pulling back.
"Sorry...I've just never seen a person so up close," he muttered, pushing his body back into the water, his head still above the surface.
"You eat fish?" He asked.
"Yes, I do,"
Without another word, he left.
You were stuck in this dome like cave with very little lighting, since the sun was going down. You took it upon yourself to look around, and was surprised to find some dead plants.
You brought it all to one corner, grabbing some jagged rocks. You scraped them together aggressively, and eventually, you had a small fire.
You hoped it would last.
When he came back, there was a torn net holding at least twelve fish, and you chuckled as he hurled himself up the ledge, sighing dramatically.
"Wasn't sure how much people eat so I got extra!" He grinned.
You noticed his sharp, jagged teeth, but for some reason, it didn't bother you as much as it should have.
"What are you?"
It came out before you could stop yourself. It was weighing on your mind for a while, giving you time to ponder while he was gone.
His smile faltered before he hid it quickly.
"I'm a shark," he said simply with a grin, opening the net of fish.
He grabbed a stick next to him before spearing the aquatic animal onto it.
"Are you sure? Sharks don't really...talk?" You took the stick from him, holding it over your small fire.
"I don't know? Me and my friends are all like this. I mean- they aren't sharks, but we can all talk? My dad called us hybrids,"
"Hybrids? So your half human?"
"I think? I mean I kinda look like you, but then the other half doesn't-"
He proceeded to keep handing you fish to cook, and you continued to while speaking with him.
"So your friends? You said they aren't sharks?"
His eyes sparkled at the mentions of his friends, his posture straightening.
"Nope! We're all different. I mean, one is a dolphin, the other is a squid, another a sea horse. We all couldn't be more different."
You nodded.
"So they aren't scared of you? Your a predator hybrid," you say, curious.
His eyes widened.
"Oh god, no! I have never hurt them or anyone. Honestly we're fearful of Minho, but I'm a playful way. He's the dolphin,"
You smile.
"I hear dolphins are the most dangerous animal out there,"
You both laughed.
"You might be right,"
It became silent suddenly, but it was a comfortable silence. The fish we're all cooked, so now you both ate.
"Do you remember how you got here?" Felix asked after cleaning the mess up.
You stilled, forgetting completely that you don't belong here. But he made you so comfortable, it feels like you had known him for years.
"Uhh, I fell off a boat? I was fishing I think." Your brain once again turned into mush.
"Two boys pushed you off the boat, y/n. I was lucky I got to you in time. The currents were harsh."
His eyes filled with sadness, his arm reaching up to rest on your calf.
You looked back at him, gauging his words. You remember yelling at the boys, but not being pushed off.
"I forgot," was all you could say.
"Listen, maybe you need some rest. It was a stressful day, after all. I can take you back to the island in the morning?" He tilted his head, his sharp teeth flicking through his lips.
"Oh, yeah. Sure. What about you?"
"I don't sleep much. I can keep the fire going, and go to find something for you to use on the water. If I don't, you'd probably get hypothermia," he grinned, his fin flicking against the water.
You smiled.
"The fire won't hurt you, will it?"
"No. As long as I get back to the water afterwards," he shrugged, scooting over to tend to the fire. "See?"
"Thank you Felix," you laughed, suddenly feeling insanely tired.
The last thing you saw was a heartwarming smile from him before it went dark.
You woke up to the sound of splashing, and fought the sun to open your eyes.
"Y/n? You ready to go?"
Your eyes Open to a cute, wet Felix. Behind him was a floating piece of wood, one that would be able to carry your weight.
"Yeah,"
He led you onto the platform, gently caressing your waist.
"Comfortable?" He asked, his hands hooked onto the sides.
"Yes, Felix I'm okay," you pat his head, watching his face contort into many emotions.
Confusion, denial, acceptance, enjoyment, happinesses.
He liked it.
"Alright, I'll be under the water this entire time, pulling from a rope okay?"
He almost looked like he didn't want to leave you out of his sight. It was endearing.
Wat you didn't know, however, was that he watched you sleep for hours. Not in a creepy way, but he knew it was cold, and didn't want you getting sick or anything. He admired you and your form. He would kill to have legs, and everything else that you do. Life underwater was harsh, even for him. It didn't matter if he was a shark hybrid or not. His caring and empathetic nature wouldn't let him be the predator he should be.
After making sure you were settled, he led you back home.
It took around thirty five minutes before you saw the big piece of floating land, but when you did, you felt your speed slowing down.
"Felix?" You asked, since he didn't come out of the water yet.
The water here compared to the cave was a lot darker. Why? You didn't know. But you were worried the rope cut loose and he didn't know.
It wasn't until you heard water from behind you that you started to worry.
"Felix. What's wrong? Did the rope snap?" You asked, bring your hand up to his wet hair.
He almost looked as if he were going to cry.
"Are you gonna forget about me, y/n?" He choked.
Your heart nearly broke.
"Of course not, Felix. Why would you think that?" You continued petting his head, watching his eyes roll back.
"You'll never see me again,"
"Woah woah woah. Says who? I can still see you, can't I?" You stop him, cursing yourself.
You hadn't even thought that far ahead.
"How would you? We are two different worlds, y/n,"
His eyes were large and shiny with emotion, making you swoon.
"I fish once a week. When I'm on the boat, you come find me, yeah?"
His eyes lit up suddenly, his demeanor changing.
"Really? You'd let me see you?"
"Of course, Felix. You saved my life!" You both laughed.
His light chuckle filled the air, despite being in the middle of the ocean.
"Alright, let's get you home,"
Street Angel
Warnings: none! For all genders!
Summary: Your having a hard day and meet a beautiful guy with the voice of a bass. How will it end?
Walking to the public bus stop, your shoulders hunched as you shiver slightly. You were still damp from the water that spilt on you earlier, making you cooler than you cared for.
It was a particularly warm day, for which you were grateful. You weren't grateful however, for your pain in the ass boss for deducting something that wasn't your fault, from your paycheck.
You reached the bench, about to sit on the edge away from the other person waiting. But then you felt something around you shift. This guy, sat perched playing on his phone, literally radiated energy. Good energy.
You couldn't help but smile slightly. You sighed as you sat down, relieved to be off your feet for a while.
You sat quietly, not moving. You were tense around the shoulders, and you could tell it showed.
"Rough day?" You heard a deep voice ask softly, making you turn to the boy. Was it his voice? No way...
"Pardon?"
He smiled gently, placing his phone in his pocket.
"I said, rough day?" He repeats, giving you his full attention.
You scoffed, nodding at him. "So rough...you have no idea," you breathed out a mocking laugh.
He knew it wasn't pointed at him. He didn't mind, as long as you get rid of the pent up tension.
He thought you were quite beautiful, and the way you expressed your emotions made him intrigued.
"Wanna talk about it?" He asked, raising a brow.
"Ugh...Just one of those days, you know?" You answered, shrugging your shoulders. "Nothing but my dick boss being a dick, and nature throwing things at me. Literally..." You said, pointing to the damp patch on your shirt.
He only nodded, showing he understood without actually saying anything. You felt comfortable around this boy.
His features were otherworldly in your opinion. His beautiful eyes, his heart shaped face, the flecks of freckles your sister called angel kisses...Oh. Thats what he seems like. An angel.
"What's your name, sir?" You asked, suddenly curious.
His eyes widened. He almost seemed shocked.
"Wait...This entire time, you hadn't known who I am?" He asks in a doubting tone, looking at you through a squint.
"Pardon?" This is your second time being surprised by him and his shocking looks, as well as his tone. Were you supposed to know him?
"You really don't know me?"
You felt your face flush, "Oh my god, please don't tell me we've met and I completely forgot. If that's the case, then I am so so so sorry, sir," you mumble, trying to look through your memory for angelic features, only to find none.
"Oh! No no no, not at all. I would remember a pretty girl like you. No. It's just that, I'm kinda sorta famous. Popular, I guess," He explained, suddenly flushing himself.
He wouldn't describe himself as cocky or egotistical, but he would have thought you would at least have seen him somewhere. Anywhere, at least.
You on the other hand, found it odd that your angel called you pretty. In your opinion, you couldn't be compared to his beauty. He literally looks like he's carved from stone.
"You're...famous? Are you an actor? Or a model?" You were certain he was a model. If he wasn't, you needed him to be immediately, suddenly imaging him walking on a runway. In something very revealing.
"Have you ever heard of Stray Kids?" He switched from hugging his knee to crossing it with his other, shifting his body to face you completely.
"Stray Kids? Is that a movie?" You weren't into television much, so who knew what he was talking about.
"No, it's a Korean boy group I'm apart of. I'm a singer," He finishes, proudly smiling at his confession.
Your eyes widened once again, imaging a voice like his singing. You bet it would be brilliant.
"Oh! That's so cool! I'll have to look that up when I get home," You say, blushing as you flashed him a smile.
"What's your name? I'm Felix," He held out his hand for you to shake. You hesitantly took it, grasping lightly.
"Felix? Your name even sounds angelic..." You mutter more to yourself than to him, but he heard it anyway, grinning.
"Name, sweetheart?" He asks again, still patient.
"Y/n,"
"That's beautiful. I've never met anyone named y/n," His brows come together as he thinks about the people he's met. "Yeah, no, I haven't,"
"Glad I'm your first," as soon as you said it, your face flushed quickly, making him laugh loudly. It sounded like music to you.
Before either of you could say anything else, the screeching of the bus tires sounded, making you both turn to look at it.
"Sit next to me?" He asked, holding out his hand. "We could get to know each other more?"
"Are you sure? What about dating rumors and mistress scandals?" You joked, standing beside him.
What you heard next knocked the wind out of you.
"If it's with you, I'll be okay,"
Why is Tumblr labeling things that I haven't even posted as mature content? It's only a picture of a black and white bookshelf???
Chan's Smile ✨
You and Seungmin have known each other since you both were in diapers. You two were neighbors, and we're inseparable. As you both reached your teen years, you realized that your feelings toward him had shifted into something more than being siblings. But he didn't feel the same.
In high school, there was this girl that he lies more than anything. Sasha was her name, an exchange student from America. Her Korean was perfect, but her personality always seemed to push you away. Not Seungmin, though.
He fell for her. Hard. And you were ready to mend the broken pieces. But he never seemed to break. It was almost as if her rejections made him want her more.
You shared a class with Sasha, and once overheard her talking with her friends about Seungmin that made you want to reach over and strangle her.
"He isn't even attractive. Cute, maybe, but the mole on his cheek makes me feel sick. Like, get it removed or something."
Her friend, Songie, replied, "You're right, he is a bit cute, but he looks too much like a dog. Like, the younger dogs, you know. That grow up ugly as hell. God I hate dogs..." She muttered the last part.
You were fuming. Not only was he your best friend, but he was also your long term crush. He may not have noticed, though. Still, you felt the need to stand up for him. And so, you did.
After a calm, beat the shit out of her talk, you were sent to the principals office, only to be suspended for a short few days.
When you came back, you saw that Seungmin was waiting for you in the cafeteria, slouching in his chair. As you got closer, you saw tears forming in his eyes.
"Why did you do that y/n? What was the reason?"
You sighed, explaining to him what she had said, and even though it hurt him more, you were relieved to see that he was getting over her, even if it was slowly.
After that, the two of you grew closer. You saw him break, and at last, you placed his pieces back together, mending them until they were healed.
He tried for baseball after high school, but switched to JYP studios instead last minute, debuting with his new group. All of his new friends didn't replace you, but welcomed you.
You all grew close, and eventually, after his contract allowed it, Seungmin and you started dating.
Seven years after the debut, you two were as close as ever.
