We Feel Pain So That Our Body Can Tell Us When Something Is Wrong So We Don’t Die Of A Common Cold

We feel pain so that our body can tell us when something is wrong so we don’t die of a common cold or a papercut or something but I do not understand why once a month I gotta feel some of the worst pain of my life, like typically if my body is falling apart and rotting from the inside then yah I’d wanna know about it but when it happens the exact same way every month for the past several years? I just think it’s a bit dramatic at this point like- my body should just understand by now that this is normal and maybe it wouldn’t kill it to just be thankful that I don’t have a parasite growing in me every once in awhile instead of throwing the same damn fit every month when I don’t have one

Whenever I think about the entire “trans people confuse me” topic I always think of kids and how easily accepting they are. My younger brother has brown eyes and I (AFAB) have blue eyes, and so when we were quite young he came to the conclusion that because of that, all girls had blue eyes and all boys had brown eyes. And my mother, who had brown eyes looked at him and said “well, look at mummy’s eyes, what colour are they?” Obviously with the intention of showing him that eye colour had nothing to do with gender, but instead, my brother just looked at her and went “oh! Mummy, you must be a boy” and I mean it really is that simple. Tolerance isn’t even taught it’s bigotry that is taught and why people become homophobic or transphobic or and other label that just means “I’m a massive dick”. My younger brother would have been perfectly happy for our mom to be a boy, he didn’t give a damn lol and neither should anyone else.
