Until one day the three of them were out somewhere and some guy is flirting with her, kinda making her uncomfortable and Tom gets mad and protective and it changes their relationship? Harrison had been looking forward to finally being back home after months in Montreal with Tom and Harry. He looked forward to reuniting with his family and friends, especially (Y/N), his other best friend. Though Tom and (Y/N) had a similar love for Harrison, the two had always butted heads. The small rivalry started when they were only five and Tom had tugged on (Y/N)’s braids in her hair on the first day of school, Harrison had gone to comfort the crying girl who was so upset over the loose braid.

Harrison had suggested that he should meet up with (Y/N), wanting to catch up over dinner. The girl had agreed, missing her friend just as much as he had missed her.

Harrison had forgotten to mention that Tom would be joining them on their outing. She gave Harrison a pointed look as soon as her eyes landed on Tom’s frame.

“I’m not sitting with that.” She said, pointing her finger at Tom, causing him to roll his eyes and scoff.

“Like I’d want to sit with you.”

someone: why do you like the xmen so much?? i mean they're cool and all but so are the avengers

me internally: because the xmen are a group of oppressed people who are Constantly fighting for their survival and equality, while also fighting for all of mankind, the people who actively discriminate against them, when they really don't have to (unlike the avengers who mainly spend their time fighting each other or not caring about mutants). Their story of oppression is relatable to those who deal with discrimination and oppression in real life, therefor making their story all the more compelling. Not to mention, the xmen stories have magneto who is one of the most interesting, complexing and captivating villain, (if you can even call him that), in the entire marvel universe.
