“supernatural creatures” as we call them, weren’t once considered supernatural. long before history was written they existed and their blood still flows within us, humans, as we do the things we like and excel at.

you can see mermaids in the ways professional swimmers keep their breath for a long time underwater. you can see it in the little girl who constantly wants to go to the pool. you can see them in teenagers who you find surfing on the beach. you can sense them in the way their body gracefully moves on their own.

you can see werewolves in the way some people look at the moon. you can see them in the way they eat more meat than the rest of your friends. you can see them in the way they always sense and know what’s wrong without someone telling them. you can spot them making walks in the darkness of the night.

you can see elves in the way they admire nature. you can see them in the people who love taking walks through the forests. you can see it in the way how they’re faster, more agile, and taller than your average person. you can see them in the little kids who always climb trees. you can see them in the old people who prefer to live in cottages in the woods instead of the big cities.

you can see dragons in the way some people long to the summer. how your little brother wants to visit hot places. you can see them in the people who always had a love for money. you can see it in the way some people always want to know more. you can spot them feeling at ease with their hair in the wind.

you can see faeries in the way your neighbour’s daughter takes flowers with her. you can see it in the young boy who made his own spot in the forest. you can see them in the people who remember the smallest details you told them. you can sense them in the way they use body languages. how their eyes speak.

Hogwarts: Always has room for more people in their home. Candle-lit dinners. Cuddling in front of fireplaces. Strong aesthetics. Gets confused easily. Not as dedicated to their studying as they pretend to be.

Neverland: Kindred spirit. Loves flying and travelling but only has one true home. Constantly on an adventure. Barefoot. Thrill Seeker. Dreams big. Sneaking out at midnight for an adventure.

Wonderland: Laughs the hardest out of all at their own jokes. Artistic. Sometimes can’t tell up from down. Loses track of time constantly. May or may not be on drugs. Tea lover. Trying to find their way.

Narnia: Still in the closet. Misunderstood. Cares a lot. Has a rough past. Always has cold hands and feet. Fighting to become a better person. Has a lot of love in their heart to share.

Camp Half-Blood: Does a lot of stupid things. Has a lot of fighting spirit. Not one for technology. Loves mythology. Bit of a geek at heart. Has been through a lot since they were kids.

Ooo: Comes off as the craziest person you have ever met. Constantly doing weird things. Doesn’t care what other people have to say. Keeps on going no matter what. Has a lot of spirit.

ive always thought it was weird how the common rooms of each hogwarts house was supposed to be this mystery for the other houses but harry and ron could still find the slytherin dorms pretty easily in book two. I mean, everyone has a general idea of where the other houses are located (gryffindor and ravenclaw in a tower, hufflepuff in the basement etc) and that might be fine for the other houses but do you hinestly think slytherin - the most cunning and untrusting house of all would be okay with having their common rooms so easily disclosible. NO way. I think the slytherin common rooms that harry and ron go to in chamber of secrets is a fake room to distract anyone who is trying to snoop in on the slytherins. Thats why its all dark and inhospitable and evil aura types because thats what the other houses think of slytherin. So if anyone finds this fake common room, they won’t doubt its authenticity. And meanwhile, the slytherins actually have a really luxurious and comfortable hideout in a completely different part of the castle funded by their rich pureblood parents   and thats why the common rooms you saw in book two are so ugly while in reality slytherin common rooms- the house full of spoiled rich pureblood prats -  should be the most extravagant and over the top thing in the whole school
