Flag Meaning : The dusky rose represents the bad (but not traumatic) parts of the relationship, the sunset pink represents the good parts of the relationship. The periwinkle represents the pain the alter holds, the dull navy represents the trauma they also hold.

Fasa[rom/sex/aroace] is a term for beings who are romance/sex repulsed, but instead of disgust, the reason for the repulsion is fear. It is a label for beings who are afraid of romance/sex.

Disordergenic : a system origin that encompasses all plural origins that are caused by disorders (for example; Neurogenic, Bordergenic, Bipolargenic, etc), except for complex dissociative disorders (i.e. DID, OSDD, etc).

Dissociagenic : asystem or headmate that formed as a result of dissociation, be it that the process of dissociation caused it to form, that it was formed as a means of coping with the dissociation, or otherwise.

Dispastgenic : a traumagenic or stressgenic origin that the person does not remember due to a trauma or stress and dissociation.

Conpraefic : term for systems who refuse to disclose their origin or don’t want their origins known by others, unless there is a strong bond between them. This could be a relationship of any kind (a friendship, a qpr, a romantic relationship, etc.), a mental/psychological connection, or just a stable amount of trust.

Cryogenic : a synonym for quoigenic, where it seemingly comes out of nowhere, or like it's coming from the “cold”; a system that seems to have frozen before (dormancy) and is now “thawing” (multiple headmates) or vice versa; a system that flows between the above definition consistently due to things such as trauma or neurodivergence; a system that feels like it goes dormant in certain “seasons” or periods experienced by the body; et

Abupartnergenic : a traumagenic origin where a headmate forms primarily in response to another headmate in an abuser's system. This can be from an ex-partner system, but not always.

Persecutor : a headmate who acts harmfully towards other system members or the body. In some definitions a persecutor is also someone who lashes out at others outside of their system.

Automisiagenic : a system, headmate, or headmate grouping is formed from the self-hatred of another headmate or headmate grouping, causing a split. In the case of an automisiagenic system, the member the self-hatred came from may be an original or a core.

Mixed origins : a system that has multiple different system origins. This could be because their system formed from a combination of factors, or that not all of their headmates are of the same origin.

Adaptive : systems which formed in response to trauma or other adversity. A common trait of such systems is viewing plurality as adapting, healing, and overcoming obstacles.

Acagenic : an origin term for a system or headmate created due to academic stress. This includes pressure from parents or peers for things such as good grades, or general academic or school stress.
