ah yes, this is my crack
imagine zolu foreplay moments, specifically the times Zoro wants Luffy so bad he gets a little impatient. (this is suggestive.)
The way the kiss would be rushed and short at first from Zoro as he is still awkward about kissing his captain and refusing to let Luffy make the first move. The little giggle that Luffy would let out at Zoro's eagerness before he steps onto his own toes to kiss the marimo again would cause Zoro's heart beat in his ears as his hands find the smaller man's slim waist. The second kiss would be slower, knowing that the swordsman broke their friendly barrier behind closed door and that Luffy could lead from there as he always knew what he was doing when it came to kissing the marimo.
Luffy's arms would easily wrap around the broad man's shoulders, locking his fingers into the nape of the soft tuft of hair, lightly pulling enough to let the bigger man know that he's the one in control for the time being. A low satisfied hum would leave Zoro's chest, almost sounding like purr from the pressure until the noise dies when Luffy pulls him down once more to reconnect their lips. It wouldn't be rushed, Luffy won't let it be no matter how far Zoro's eager fingers roam his back, slipping under his shirt, large and warm fingers pressing into his hips, thumbs digging in just enough to have his stomach in a knot and Zoro's thick thigh spreading his own as he's pressed against the door. The pace would be soft despite the pained look on Zoro's face when their lips ghost over each others soft wet and warm sounds would fill the space between them. Small gasps would leave Luffy's mouth while Zoro's own intake would sound like his lungs had reached capacity with each breath in through his nose.
"Slow down..." Luffy would remind his first mate when hungry lips would tear away from his own and fall to his neck to leave their usual trail of phantom hickeys. Just enough for Luffy to feel but not enough to leave a mark and expose to the rest what they get up to when everyone is tucked away and sound asleep in their own beds.
"Sorry, just want you so fucking bad right now.." Zoro would mutter against wet skin like he always did when he tried to coerce the smaller man to get into his favorite position quicker with each kiss. Luffy knew Zoro wanted his small captain straddling him, preparing to sheath the swordsman just like every other night they found themselves like this.
Another laugh would leave Luffy when he would force his lover away with a strong hand in the middle of his scarred chest, just enough to get him to stumble back to the vacant bed of the green-haired man's room. A love-drunk smile would find itself on Zoro's features as he watches Luffy crawl on top of him, all while ridding himself of his clothes.
"Baby, haven't you ever heard that good things come to those who wait." Luffy would say with a knowing smile on his face while Zoro would roll his eyes and let his large hands fall onto the dips between the dark-haired man's hips and plush thighs.
"I'm not patient, man, Luffy." Zoro would say as his hands slip farther behind this captain, grabbing a handful of the plush mound that he's waiting impatiently to sink into. "You already know this, don't you, baby. I'll never be patient with you."
The smaller man would instinctively arch back into the hold of the man underneath him who was slowly starting to rock up into him, the warm of him just grazing the space it begged to be inside of. Large hands would release their hold on him before dragging their featherlight touch to the raven-haired man's chest. The pressure put there just enough to have Luffy arching into the touch and letting out a small hum at the sensation.
Another airy laugh would leave Luffy as he looked down to Zoro's, knowing smirk before the words trapped in his throat would spill out from under his tongue.
"Fuck... Neither will I."

A/N: sorry that Zoro is slightly OOC in this story, but he's supposed to be a fanboy you know? Anyway he's head over heels for Luffy in canon so it's not that different, right? lol?

Zoro was walking around town with Robin and Franky, apparently, the town was having a festival today.
"It's interesting, the amount of effort the townspeople are preparing for the festival, I was just reading a book about it from the town's library," Robin said in slight awe, Franky was impressed as well. "Yeah they're building a lot of things for this festival pretty quickly, and it looks stable too."
Zoro chuckled internally a bit, of course, Franky and Robin's hobbies will never rest, Zoro was just happy to go to the city without too much supervision. While he apparently "gets lost" a lot, he's glad that Robin and Franky came with him, they give him way more slack than the others, (yes, because walking in a straight line without getting lost is an achievement).
He finally spotted the object he wanted to see since his first night at the beach house, he had to wait a few days because the others had group plans. He saw that huge statue that caught his eyes a few nights ago, there he was, standing in front of a memorial of his favorite band.
Considering the festival is a music festival, it made a lot of sense for the group to be the center of the festivities. Flowers, letters, food, and more were left in front of the statue, right above it was a plaque, 'The Pride of Dawn Island' is what it read. From what Robin told him earlier, a lot of people that left gifts for the departed trio weren't just fans, those three were kind to the town before they were famous and after they reached stardom. It's a reason why Zoro likes them, celebrities that aren't jackasses and didn't let fame get to their head, the support they have from the city is just proof of it.
Franky whistled at the statue, impressed by the quality, Robin smiled at the young adult before her. Zoro isn't the type of person to idolize someone if they don't deserve it.
"By the way Zoro, the town has a memorial concert for the boys at the end of the festival, in case if you wanted to know" Robin smiled as he saw the green-haired man shoulder's raise with hidden excitement.
"Really? That's nice of them," Zoro replied softly, he turned around the face his older friend. "How long is it before the concert starts?"
Robin pulled out a pamphlet from Franky's back pocket, the older two looking over the itinerary.
"It starts around 10 pm bro, so you got plenty of time to relax before then," Franky said as he was looking at the other festivities listed.
It was currently 7 pm, and the small group was looking around and taking time to shop around and play some classic carnival games.
It wasn't long before the stack of prizes Franky won for Robin started to pile up, meanwhile, Zoro only got one prize, a pretty good one too.
Now it wasn't a surprise to anyone that most carnival games are almost impossible to win, especially the basketball free throw game. The number of people Zoro saw struggling to make more than 5 shots would be embarrassing if it wasn't rigged, but Zoro had a backup plan.
He was eyeing the replica guitar hanging on the prize corner, all he had to do was make 20 shots, and 20 shots he did. It didn't help the carnival workers that Zoro was basically a 6 ft. wall of pure muscle, all he had to do was squeeze some of the air out for the ball to fit through the 'smaller than normal' hoop.
So now he was carrying proudly a replica of Luffy's guitar. "Why don't we stop by the beach house for a moment to drop everything off, especially you Zoro, I doubt you want that shiny guitar to get into an accident," Robin told the two as she offered to carry some of the prizes that were won for her.
The two agreed and by the time they made it back to the beach house, it was 9 pm, Zoro was finishing getting dressed and he looked in the mirror in his guest room.
Wearing the shirt that Zoro waited weeks before the trip was finally being worn, it wasn't too tight nor loose, fitting his build just right.
Now after rushing Robin, Franky, and now his other friends, they made it to the concert venue.
"I'm actually surprised we got some good seats!" Usopp said as they were waiting for the concert to start.
All of his friends had a seat next to each other, a surprising feat since the concert started in thirty-ish minutes when they arrived and his friend group consisted of 9 people including himself.
(ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥
"Do you know what songs they're going to play moss-head?" Sanji asked as he blew smoke out of his mouth, his other friends also looked at him for an answer.
"How am I supposed to know pervy -cook, I just found out they were having this concert a few hours ago." Zoro replied while rolling his eyes in annoyance to piss off his 'friend' more.
Thankfully, Chopper, Usopp, Jinbe, Nami, and Vivi were sitting between Zoro and Sanji so they don't try to murder each other.
Before any of the two can say anything else, the lights around the stage lit up and a pair walked up the stage.
"The show doesn't start for another 5 minutes, wonder what's going on?" Brook, who was sitting next to Sanji questioned.
"Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great night tonight!" a short but energetic woman greeted the audience.
"I'm Koala and my partner here is Marco" Marco waved towards the crowd.
"Before the show starts, we wanted to have a brief moment of silence for our superstars before the show begins, if that's alright with guys-yoi" Marco, the taller of the two spoke towards the crowd.
The crowd was responsive to the two hosts, "Now since everyone has different beliefs here, we aren't going to do a joint prayer or anything like that, but just have a nice minute to say your thought to the boys before we get this show on the road alright?" Koala smiled at the excitement of the crowd.
The ambient music playing at the festival stopped and the stage lights moved from the hosts to a mural of the band.
Luffy was smiling so brightly, an arm around his brothers. Ace was on the left, having a small smile but had his elbow resting upon his brother Sabo. Sabo had a smile that was a mixture of Luffy's and Ace's, wrapping his free arm around Luffy.
Zoro was relieved that he didn't hear a prayer, his friends most likely felt the same since none of them have a religious bone in their body.
Everyone had their eyes closed and it was complete silence, Zoro decided to close his eyes as well, he might as well be respectful.
"Thanks for coming!" a bright voice rang through Zoro's head.
Zoro opened his eyes quickly, when he realized everyone was still silent he just assumed that he's been hearing things lately. Shaking his head he closed his eyes again, enjoying the brief silence once more.
After another minute of silence, the light faced the hosts again.
"Alright, thank you everyone for coming tonight, and enjoy the show!" Koala said before Marco and her left the stage.
Not even seconds after, a huge projector came out, and then the show started.
Multi-colored lights were coloring the night sky and Zoro was having the time of his life. He and his friends were singing along to their favorite songs.
(ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥
It was an amazing two hours, ending the concert with 'Andromeda', one of Zoro's favorite songs. After the concert was over and the group made it back to the beach house, Zoro felt a little sad.
"Okay guys, we're heading to bed, tonight was fun!" Nami spoke in a happy but tired voice as she brought Vivi with her.
Everyone else also said their goodnights to each other and Zoro was now in his room.
He was laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling, before he felt a hand touch his hair.
"What the fu-" Zoro sat up and saw something, no someone in front of him.
"Oh shit, you can see me? Well...anyway sorry for messing with you, but I was happy seeing you at our concert! Especially with our merch, it makes me and my brothers happy!"
Zoro slapped his cheeks and was so surprised to see that he was not hallucinating...
"I have to be fucking dreaming aren't I?" Zoro said as he put a hand to his face and sighed.

Previous Chapter: Momentary Bliss Next: All Alone
SOBBING
Love was more than just a three worded statement to Zoro, something just to be said. For Zoro, it had to be shown. It had to be earned.
He could never just say that he loved the other Straw Hats. It would never be enough. Zoro had to make sure that they never were in danger and put his life on the line for every one of them. That they had someone to do all the heavy lifting when they couldn’t, even if he may grumble periodically if it’s the Cook. Hell, if needed, he had to make sure that they had a nap buddy. And most importantly, he always liked to listen to them talk.
Zoro never has to say that he loved them. They all know. He never expects for his gestures to be returned. But they always are, without fail.
Luffy always wanting Zoro to play some stupid game with him or even just hanging out while he trained. Using his devil fruit in some of his exercises, something that Zoro didn’t know would be helpful. But Luffy, looking up at him, would shoot him the biggest ear-to-ear grin.
“Well, Zoro needed those resistance bands to work out. I don’t know how those help but I thought I could help better,” Luffy stated obviously but so sweetly as Zoro used part of his arm to stretch his shoulders. Zoro smiled a little softer at the knowledge of how closely his captain listened. How aware of him he was.
Usopp, creating a gadget that was even more durable enough to hold his swords, with Zoro watching behind him. So experimental and dexterous, he messed with the metal of the soon to be fully formed carrier. Making sure it could withstand anything Zoro could encounter. He watched him move, his head tilting to the side as he watched.
“You’re very intent on making sure this doesn’t break,” Zoro pointed out amusedly and Usopp nodded, fixing the final screw of his holder.
“Well, of course. I don’t want you to lose your swords,” Usopp said, the tone of voice also much softer than he’s used to being directed.
Nami and Sanji he would find cleaning his swords, Nami holding Enma in his lap and Sanji holding Kietsu in his lap. Meanwhile, Wado rested on a towel and was practically given a pillow for it to be rested on. He watched the gentle care that Nami and Sanji performed on his swords, treating them like something of care to the both of them. All of his swords have a history, he knew that to anyone else they were a hunk of metal.
Not to his crew. Not to Sanji and Nami right now, unaware of Zoro watching them.
“This oil you picked out is so nice. It makes the swords shine,” Sanji said to Nami, finishing the wiping down the tip of his blade with an intense concentration. Nami was giving him a look that even Zoro couldn’t read and she hummed in agreement, still cleaning Enma down.
“Cleaning and sharpening his swords were also a good idea,” Nami replied, a tone gentle as she stared down at Enma. The two of them sat in silence as Sanji and Nami both cleaned his swords.
“Zoro! Why are you working out now!?” Chopper scolded, staring down at his bandaged torso as he lifted a smaller weight. Zoro finished his rep and he placed it down on the ground next to his feet.
“I need to keep training-”
“Well you’re not going to get stronger if you stay injured,” Chopper said to him with crossed arms across his chest. Despite his frown, Zoro didn’t miss the worried glint in his eyes down at him. His little blue nose twitched as his hoof pressed into his side.
“Alright fine. But I want to keep my swords by my bed,” Zoro requested as they walked to the hospital bunks.
“Nami got you a stand. So you’ll be okay.”
Zoro nodded and when they got to the bunks, Robin was fixing Zoro’s bed and fluffing up his blankets and pillows. When she finished, she sat on the chair and picked up a book on the history of swordsmen. She looked over at him with a gentle smile, a much warmer smile.
“Figured you needed some company, Swordsman.”
edit!! (i’m adding this thanks to @okama-kaizoku hehe)
can you make some royalty x rockstar prompts??? sorry for the trouble¡
It’s no trouble at all. I’ve never heard of this pairing before and I’m excited to make prompts for it. (A is the royal and B is the rockstar)
Prompts
B is hired to perform for A’s birthday, which is a very uptight, formal and closed event. A is bored with all the stuck up guests around them, and can’t help but revel in the chaos caused by B’s rock music.
A sneaks out of the palace undercover so they can have just one night of rebellion. They stumble across B’s concert and fall in love with the band. A makes it a common practise to sneak out to see them play.
(Alternate version of 2) A ends up meeting B outside the venue and they start talking. A tells B about their night of rebellion (not their true identity) and B decides to make their night of rebellion one they’ll never forget.
When A was a child, their royal identity was kept a secret so that they could live a normal life until they were sixteen. Now an adult (and an important part of the royal family), they discover that a childhood friend of theirs has finally started the band they always talked about. Like a true friend, A shows up to everyone of their concerts.
A is chosen to be a judge for a music competition to raise money for charity. The competition is a tournament, and A does not want to judge it. That is, until B performs on stage and blows A away.
Oneliners
“How do I know you’re not just dating me for my status?” “How do I know you’re not just dating me for mine?”
“Would it be too on-the-nose if I wrote a song about falling for someone who’s trapped in a palace?”
“I thought royals were into more classical stuff, not rock and roll”
“You dress like a demon but you really have a heart of gold”
“I’m more than happy to give up my title for you”
“I’m going on tour with my band. Who knows, maybe we’ll stop through your kingdom”
“I wrote something for you”

Hi, could you do ghost x ghost prompts?
Anon, I’ve waited my entire life to make these prompts.
Prompts
A died decades ago and was fascinated by science and technology. They meet freshly-dead B, who finds joy in telling A all about technological and scientific advancements.
A and B haunt an empty house together. They bond over scaring away potential buyers and delinquent kids.
A and B were lovers when A tragically died. Centuries later, the identical reincarnation of B dies and meets the ghost of A. Does A try to remind B of their past life or do they keep it a secret so they can fall in love with B all over again?
After they died, A completely lost their memory. With the help of B, they try and piece together their life and how it came to an end.
After A dies, they decide to dedicate their afterlife to helping their best friend C. They haunt C’s apartment and clean up after them, turn off ovens before the food burns, takes out the trash and writes grocery lists when they run out of food. After a while, A notices that another ghost is doing the same thing. B, C’s sibling who died a few years prior, is also taking care of C. They bond over their mutual love for C and how much baby-ing C needs.
While chatting about their lives, A and B discover that their paths have crossed multiple times.
A and B were both detectives / mystery addicts when they were alive. They bond over spending their afterlife trying to solve notorious unsolved mysteries.
A and B take turns possessing a human.
With everyone quarantined at home, the streets are (nearly) completely empty. A and B decide to go out on the town and enjoy the emptiness.
A is a paranormal fanatic who is investigating “the most haunted property in the world” when they die in the property. They get to meet B, the ghost who haunts the property. Turns out, B is not a bloodthirsty demon and is just a disgruntled spirit who hates guests.
Oneliners
“You are the least scary ghost I’ve ever seen”
“What do you miss the most about being alive?”
“C’s still alive? Damn I miss them! How are they doing?”
“I never thought that ghosts wouldn’t be able to feel the breeze”
“Damn, things have really changed over the last 300 years”
“Is that- OH MY GOD THAT’S MY CHILDHOOD DOG!”
“Your dead. You have time for me to teach you the piano”
“Wait a minute . . . you killed me!”
“Yay. More paranormal investigators”
“Put on this sheet, they’ll eat it up”
CRYING, SCREAMING, THROWING UP I LOVE IT
Ok as a genderfluid person Luffy radiates huge "what's gender?" energy and I know there have been instances of him wearing traditionally non-masculine clothing, so HEAR ME OUT!!
Luffy loves robin's style, the shirts and the short skirts and pants and prints. It's a bit more modest than Nami's but still sexy because Sanji always shortcircuits around her when she wears them. And he thinks that's cool! He wants to make people do that too. So he goes to Robin and asks her if she has any clothes that she'd give him.
So he ends up with some cute skirts and halter tops (think her Miss All Sunday outfit) (and underwear because Robin told him he has to wear underwear and lends him some soft cotton ones he doesn't hate) and decides he's gonna wear it around the ship the next day.
Cue the next day and Luffy goes to Robin for help cuz he doesn't wanna damage her clothes. When they emerge, Sanji is about to snap at Luffy for interrupting the ladies when he just freezes when he sees Luffy. Usopp is stuttering, Chopper is gushing about Luffy's outfit, while Nami looks very conflicted about how good the captain looks in women's clothes. Franky insists the captain looks SUUUPER sexy, and it almost looks as good as the original. Brook asks to see his panties and chaos ensues as Luffy goes "Shishi shi~ sure!" And goes to raise up his skirt when big calloused hands hold his wrists.
He turns his head to see Zoro behind him, his other hand pressing into the skin of the small of his back and it makes him break out in goosebumps. The swordsman looks him up and down, and though everyone has been looking at him all morning, Zoro's singular eye burns as it roams over the exposed skin of his legs and midriff and chest. His Zoro's eyes are hungry and Luffy wants Zoro to devour him whole.
"You look nice, Captain." Zoro says, loud enough for the rest of the crew to hear but close enough to his ear that Luffy wants to shiver.
"Hey, Curly-brow, I thought you said breakfast was ready!" Zoro shouts at Sanji, and this rouses the rest of the crew to ask for breakfast. But Luffy knows breakfast is the last thing on Zoro's mind by squeeze to his hip and the heated look Zoro throws him over his shoulder as he walks to kitchen.
And if Luffy has to push his hat down to hide his blush and Robin gently taps his shoulder to tell him he can keep the outfit and she has some other she'd be willing to give to him, well that's between him and Robin.
Robin isn’t really all that surprised when she finds Luffy in her room one day, and the captain asks if she has any clothes that would fit him. The archeologist takes one minute to let the request digest before flitting over to her closet to fish something out that would sit right on Luffy’s chest and hips. They’re different proportions after all, but in the end, Robin comes back with a crop top that can be sinched tight from the back, and a mini skirt that she wore when she was much younger and a bit slimmer in the waist.
Luffy takes one look at the ensemble and grins happily, and seeing that smile, Robin offers to take it a step further by brushing Luffy’s hair and giving him a pair of matching earrings to go with his outfit.
“May I ask what brought this on, Captain?” She finally asks when Luffy’s changed and eyeballing himself in the mirror.
Luffy gives her another one of his signature smiles, “I just thought I’d might look nice. Sanji always says you look sexy in your clothes, and I want to look sexy to.” Luffy plucks at his dark hair from beneath the brim of his hat until he’s satisfied.
Robin still has her easy going demeanor about her. She never pegged Luffy to care all that much about his appearance, but if he wanted to look and feel sexy, then it wasn’t her place to interject. Not that she would. Instead of finding her Captain sexy, she thinks he looks cute in his outfit. It’s certainly different from his usual attire, but Luffy has a smile on his face that lights up her whole room, and she feels a certain fondness for her adorable little captain.
The rest of the crew has an interestingly diverse set of reactions. Nami squeals, over the moon to see Luffy dressed up in something cute as opposed to his usual attire. She offers to do his nails, which makes Luffy laughs as he runs over to join Usopp and Chopper fishing off the side of the ship. Usopp balks, eyes bulging from his head as he stutters out a, “L-L-Luffy??!!” Which just makes the captain giggle louder. Chopper is sweet as he compliments Luffy, bashful as he says he never knew skirts could be so pretty on boys.
Sanji, probably has the most convulsive aneurysm in response to Luffy’s attire change. At first, he doesn’t even notice, glancing at the skirt and assuming it’s Robin before really getting a good look. But on second thought, the hips are a bit slimmer, more slender and muscular in a way that’s different than how Robin voluptuously fits in her clothes. That is what causes Sanji to take a second look and practically drops every drink he’s holding on the serving tray because what the fuck is Luffy wearing and why is he actually pulling it off??!! It’s completely unfair! Even Sanji didn’t look that good in skirts and dresses when he dabbled in them on New-Kama island (though he’d admit, heels did wonders for his calves). Begrudgingly, the cook compliments Luffy when Robin prompts him sweetly, because Sanji can’t deny their captain looks almost illegally adorable flouncing around their ship in Robin’s old clothes.
Franky yells out a ‘super’ and poses, Luffy mimicking the action with a cheesy grin as his straw hat wobbles precariously where it’s perched on his head. Brook comes out from the bathhouse (and why skeletons need to bathe is still an unknown) and shrieks when he sees the captain. The musician makes a swooning motion as he takes the captain’s hand into his own.
“Luffy, would you be a dear and show me your panties?”
What earns him a slap from Nami only gets him a laugh out of Luffy and a giggled, “Sure!” Luffy’s hands dangerously go to the hem of his already short skirt, fingers moving to lift—
And then he’s stopped abruptly by a tanned, calloused hand covering his own. The crew looks up to see Zoro has arrived, and takes a stance behind his captain with his usual hovering. Luffy glanced over his shoulder, a little confused when Zoro stops him. His eyes slightly wide. Cheeks softly blushing pink.
“How about,” Zoro offers slowly, voice deep as he urges Luffy’s hand away from his skirt, “We don’t encourage Brook’s bad habits?”
“Aw, but I wanted to see the captain’s panties!” Brook whines, earning him another hit with a screeching yell from Nami to ‘knock it off’.
Zoro makes a noise of amusement, and Luffy feels his heart stutter at the sound. For some reason, Zoro’s hand feels warmer than ever, and the way his grey eyes meet Luffy’s dark ones sends little shivers of anticipation down Luffy’s spine.
What will Zoro think of Luffy dressing like this?
His answer comes when the swordsman grins subtly, head lowering to whisper against Luffy’s pierced ears, “You look nice, Captain.”
The words are simple, but it’s how Zoro says them that makes Luffy’s cheeks bleed red. An urge to hide his face away triggers him into pulling his hat down over his eyes, his heart hammering in his chest when Zoro moves away. Shyly, Luffy chances a glance at the first mate, only to feel as if he’s burning with the way Zoro eyes him obviously from head to toe, leisurely taking in the length of his captain with a smug, heated gaze. Luffy is now fully aware of his exposed midriff and the shortness of his skirt, but while he’s (surprisingly) embarrassed, he also feels warm, like he almost wants Zoro to look at him even more than he already is.
And so he tilts his chin up a little bit, lets his hands fall to the side as he meets Zoro’s gaze again. The swordsman’s smirk widens, his eyes softening as he adoringly takes his captain in.
Finally, with a breathy sigh, and a reverberating rumble, Zoro says, “Real nice, Luffy.”
“Ugh,” Sanji groans, sputtering his disgust as he throws two cigarettes into his mouth, “They’re flirting.”
“Oh, leave them alone.” Nami coos, shooting Luffy a wink, which only makes him blush more, as she turns to return to the helm, “And I need another drink, Sanji.”
“Of course Nami-swan!!!” The blonde chitters, noodling after his red haired goddess. That spurs the rest of the crew into dispersing and thinning out, leaving Zoro and Luffy alone in the middle of the Sunny’s deck.
Luffy doesn’t understand why it’s so hard to meet Zoro’s eyes, just that every time he does he wants something from the swordsman, and he doesn’t know what that something is. Touch him again, maybe. Keep looking at Luffy, definitely. And maybe…
Luffy shakes his head, his straw-hat falling back behind his neck. His hair, brushed and styled, billows in the sea breeze that carries over the grand line. There’s salt in the air, heat on his neck, but nothing makes him feel more warm, more thrilled, than Zoro’s hand reaching up and tucking a rebellious strand of Luffy’s hair behind his ear. The captain’s breath catches, and his eyes glimmer when he realizes what it is that he wants: why his stomach feels like it’s fluttering and his heart thunders at a pace that makes him worried about a heart attack.
Zoro is firm and large when he stands close, swords always at his hips, his own gold earrings softly chiming. His face is smooth, open and sweet, tender as he lets his fingers linger on Luffy’s cheek. Then, the swordsman is searching with his eyes, letting them fall to the captain’s mouth before moving up again, and Luffy only burns hotter. He wants—
There’s the sound of canon fire in the distance, a call from Nami as she warns of navy ships on the horizon. Zoro sighs.
Luffy finds himself making the same disappointed sound.
“Here, put this on.” Zoro says, slipping off the outer layer of his coat and placing it over Luffy’s shoulders. It’s a warm, heavy fabric. Smells like Zoro and engulfs Luffy entirely, “Can’t have the marines ogling you, right Captain?”
“Right. Only Zoro can ogle.” He says without thinking. His mouth, as always, is faster than his brain. His eyes go wide, the blush overtaking him again and he automatically goes to backtrack, but Zoro laughs, loud and beautiful. He has always been beautiful to Luffy when he smiles.
“Aye, Captain,” Zoro agrees without hesitating, and then he’s coming close again, fondly bumping their foreheads together in a way that makes Luffy squeak quietly, “You are only for me.”
Needless to say, Luffy makes a habit of raiding Robin’s closet every once in a while, and absolutely revels in the attention it earns him from a certain green haired swordsman.
Happy Birthday Zoro!!!
The Luffy and Zoro make a coquetel molotov together
