Agony.
i am honestly so obsessed with this??? kusakabe just looks SO EXCITED to be with sajou and i can imagine sajou thinking to himself, “omg why is he laughing so hard? why would this popular guy want hang out with me???” But sajou’s also thinking about how he looks like a ball of sunshine and how he hopes to stay by his side and enjoy his warmth for as long as possible while still maintaining that “cool” look on his face, you know? and kusakabe’s probably just ridiculously geeked that he’s met this person and is like “im just gonna enjoy every second with you cus you make me so happy. i have a good feeling about this.”
i wrote all of this just to say they are cute af and im so happy theyre husbands now🥺
Well?
“Congratulations on passing!”

HIS SMILE
Day1 & Day2 & Day3 ; Trinity
The scene where Snape finds Harry in the pensieve is awful, and one of my favourites. The emotions you can imagine both characters going through??? flawless. Harry finding out his father isnt the angel everyone made him out to be and Snape dealing with the fact that his bullies son witnessed his most humiliating moments… dunno, just heartbreaking stuff.
What appeals to me about whump: an incomplete list
- Contrary to popular belief, there were students who liked the dour Potions Professor of Hogwarts.
- Most of those students only came to the conclusion they liked their professor during the latter part of their education.
- The OWL students heard rumors of Snape’s slightly different attitude come handling the sixth and seventh years. It wasn’t common for the sixth years to request a pinch or slap after classes from their classmates to convince themselves they weren’t entirely dreaming of hallucinating.
- Snape wasn’t suddenly sunshines and rainbows on his sixth years, it was more like having an actual potions master demonstrate the techniques to his apprentice. These were the days they remembered that Severus Snape WAS a Potions Master, not just a licensed brewer or a mildly competent potions professor.
- There were occasions that he makes mistakes and the students will stop what they were doing before getting back to work. Mistakes are lessons to be learned and even the best Potioneers drop jars of Lacewing flies sometimes.
- They sometimes get to watch him brew and anyone who watched him could swear that there was a musical accompaniment and that brewing was a dance Severus Snape has perfected through the years.
- He was harsher on their mistakes. He coaxes an answer from them rather than spoon-feeding them the information.
- The NEWT students focus on individual projects but they still had to brew difficult potions from time to time. His wrath is rarely seen, in its place is the snark doubling as if to compensate.
- Severus Snape cursing was a treat for the seventh years.
- The number of students passing their potions NEWT was the highest in Hogwarts history during Snape’s tenure.
- The NEWT and OWL students laugh at the lower years. It wasn’t that Snape couldn’t reduce them to tears anymore but more like Snape helped them have some thick skin. They have the knowledge that whatever thing comes out of the professor’s mouth just needed to come out or else he’d skin them alive.
- Most of what comes out is surprisingly funny.
- They don’t warn new students about what to expect. Call it a right of a passage.
- Seeing Snape with his hair tied back was distracting and also a guarded secret of the OWL and NEWT students.
- His recommendation letter for students applying for apprenticeship is a mere formality. Most Masters and Apothecaries accept students from Hogwarts as long as they survived Snape’s NEWT class.
- They didn’t have to like their professor, but he really was a great Potions Master.
- His OWL and NEWT classes still hated his guts but they had a certain respect from him that wasn’t there during their younger years.
- Years later, most would recall potions class and shake their head, chuckling at why they were frightened to begin with.
