Heyyy :) thanks!
For some reason, the day before the exam, our brains tend to forget every single thing we learnt... Like, did I study this or am I hallucinating? Like, I have vague memory of it but i don't actually know it T-T
For some reason , you get to remember every single chore, every task, every embarassing situation, your future goals, daydreams and whatsoever just the moment you sit and start to study with actual focus and then it's not focus anymore T-T
Gosh, today was tiring. Nothing interesting either
Completed 2 whole concepts in accounts (about 12 sums)
Did 20% of part 2 in economics lesson 3
All studyblrs out there, I just wanted to say:
CROSS IT OUT AND TRY AGAIN. THAT'S LEARNING.
Your notes CAN be beautiful, perfect, without mistakes. In fact you should be proud of them. But at the same time, crossings out do not make notes any less valuable.
"But ohh they make it look ugly" "ohh but crossing out means I got it wrong"
NO!
The crossed out section is a testament to your learning and I think you should take pride in that as well. Nobody is perfect.
I want to see your imperfect notes with little scribbles and jottings.
Capture the essence of the feverish scholar frantically noting down their ideas as they rush towards a new horizon- their breakthrough. Their ultimate discovery. The thing they've been working on for their entire life.
Capture that essence of "I must, because it has to be done."
But again, at the same time, make them pretty! Put effort into their making! It's no different to a piece of art.
Your notes can be however you want them to be. They are for you and nobody else. If you take pride in them, their purpose is fulfilled.
Thank you for listening to my TED talk.
Here's the thing, I've read a whole lot of things tips for this but none have worked for me, so this may not work for you either but, there's no harm in experimenting, right?
Get the question papers
Now, look through the papers...
You need not set a timer and practice these questions but instead, check for a pattern or any format.
Like, a question is being repeated for every damn test and you haven't studied it? It's likely that it will be asked for the next test.
You see questions from certain lessons being repeated only from the same section? Focus on it.
And for this, you don't even need like previous year papers, even the mock tests or suprise quizzes can be used to identify which lessons are important.
Search for a pattern, focus on it and shape it
Then, when you've mostly gone through all the papers, go through the questions which they've repeated like once or twice and be sure that you can answer any question from those papers you have. You can go through the rest of the material a little slower.
Mind this that all tips may not work for you and that is completely fine :)
Heyy so I need to give a speech for my English class but I canโt come up with any topics do you have any suggestions? (The topic has to be about a problem and interesting to my classmates) ๐ฉท
