Is this even worth it?

You find yourself asking this as the time on your phones nears eight o’clock. It’s almost time for home room in UA High—classes start at eight twenty five and you still, still haven’t finished your fucking hair.

You think it looks too rough. The gel isn’t making your hair lay down flat and look soft like it should. Pieces keep popping out here and there and your ponytails looks too small. You tried your best not to get frustrated but when another fucking rubber band breaks in your hair, you can’t help but grip onto the counter and start to sob in irritation.

You love your hair. You love how versatile it is—you love how you can straighten it, how you can keep it curly, how you can braid it down or poof it up to the max. But these days… these days is when you contemplate just cutting it all off.

Why can’t your hair be like Momo’s? Or Urakaka’s? Easier to maintain, easier to handle. Softer looking, smoother looking, and cute too. Sometimes you get so tired of having to do your natural hair, especially when it doesn’t cooperate with you.

Kirishima sits in the kitchen of the common room, looking confused. You usually meet him down here around seven forty five so the two of you can have coffee and talk amongst the Bakusquad. His friends seemed confused to at your missing appearance.

“Hey. Where’s Y/N?” Bakugo asks him in his rough morning voice as he approaches the table. “You two fuckers are always down here before I am.”

“No idea… I tried texting her earlier but she didn’t answer,” Kirishima tells him, his lips pursed.

“Shouldn’t you go, I don’t know—check on her!?” Bakugo scoffs as he plops down in his chair, taking the coffee cup that’s supposed to be for you for himself. “Go see if she didn’t die in her sleep or something.”

Kirishima would scold Bakugo for his harsh language but his words only worry him more. The red haired rock boy huffs as he stands and makes his way to the girl’s dorms, ignoring the sleepy confusing looks of Urakaka and Tsu as he makes his way down the hall to your dorm. He knocks pretty hard on the door, wanting to wake you up if you had overslept.

“Y/N! Open the door babe!” he shouts, knocking over and over and over again until the door flies open to reveal you, teary eyed and still in your pajamas. Kirishima’s face drops as he immediately pushes his way into the dorm and scoops you up into his arms, kicking the door shut behind him.

“Woah woah woah! Why are ya cryinggg?” he pouts at you, pressing your face to his hard chest and that makes you sob even more. “Aww cmon sweetie, stop that. Tell me what’s wrong!”

“My—my hair,” you hiccuped, pointing to the mess on your head. “I wanted to do—this style but it won’t—it just won’t fucking do it!” you shout, and he’s slightly taken aback by the anger in your voice. “I did everything right—but it won’t lay down and it looks too rough and-“

“Hey hey, slow down.” he chuckles, grabbing your hand to drag you into the bathroom, taking all the scrunches and bobby pins out of your hair. “Don’t cry okay? You can save that style for another day. Let me help you.”

You don’t even know what he’s doing as he fluffs your hair out, too busy wiping tears from your eyes, but you’re comforted by the warmth of his body behind you and his gentle hands. He was always so soft with your hair even though he doesn’t have to be and it makes your heart thump. He’s humming while doing your hair too, grabbing butterfly clips from an organizer on your counter and that’s when you finally look up.

Your hair is in a beautiful afro, spreading across your head, and he put multicolored butterfly hair clips and clipped them all along the front of your head. It was so simple but so, so cute, and you find yourself tearing up again as just how perfect your boyfriend was.

“Hey, hey! What’d I say about your crying?!” Kirishima laughs, hugging you close to him again and pressing a big kiss to your cheek. “You can always call me if you need help with your hair, muffin.” he tells you, pushing you back so he could wipe the tears from your cheeks. He grabs your face after that, just smiling down at you, admiring his artwork. “You look so so cute. No need to cry anymore.”

“Thank you.” you tell him, your thanks genuine.

“No need to thank me!” he grins, pushing you out of the bathroom and back into your bedroom. “Now get dressed! I want my damn coffee!”

Hello I am begging you guys please boost this if you can, this keeps happening an I am so tired of it

Where I live there is this man named Pervis Payne and he is suppose to be executed in 29 days please boost this. In Tennessee specifically shelby Tennessee he is suppose to be executed. During his trial and during his time of being on death row he has faced racism, and been told things like "you think your black now just wait until we fry you."

He has so much proof of being innocent but won't be let off death row. Police has said that he was in a drug fueled frenzy with no evidence and REFUSE to do DNA testing or drug testing. He done nothing wrong but is being called a animal.

He has a proven intellectual disability where he shouldn't be on death row at all. I don't care at all what your account is about just please spread awareness knowing that stuff like this is happening where I live to innocent black people just like me is disgusting.

Can i request a Sun!bakugou x Moon!reader fic ( Kinda like a greek mythology au) where the sun and moon ( bakugou and reader) were in love, but earth was invented to they had to get separated. Then after a long time the earth started to disappear, and they are able to see eachother again? ( I'm sorry if this is complicated. I just couldn't stop thinking about!)

When Bakugou first laid his eyes on you, he swore he was seeing things, that he had died and gone to spend eternity down in hell and this was his torture, seeing a being so beautiful that you couldn’t possibly be real, but you were.

Every day, just as the sky turns a purple-orange hue, you would be bathing in the Nile, basking in the waters as it moved and bending to your will.

That’s how he’d always find you, a secret spot only for the two of you. Away from the pleas and prayers of the mortals and the others; where the both of you would bask in each other’s presence. His warmth radiated through his body, easily warming you after your even soak and easily become inseparable, until you weren’t.

That same secret spot now only housed one. You waited for him every evening just as the dust kissed the dawn but still, he never showed.

Bakugou felt it instantly the moment he arose from his slumper, a pain deep in his chest at the realization that he wasn’t near you anymore, couldn’t sense you anymore; it was as if you vanished from universe all together. But once he lays to rest, he feels a a sudden pull but only for a brief moment before the dull ache for his lover returned once more.

It may have been ‘ungodly like’ to curse those that have wronged him, but his love was separated from him by the greed of Earth, parting the lovers for its own gain. Using Bakugou’s light for its herbs and growing goods; a lot of mortals worshipped him daily while others just took what they could get their greedy hands on. But that’s not what upsets him, it’s the mortals that view his love as nothing but cold darkness that only a small few would worship.

Bakugou knew how much you craved to seen, to show them the beauty of you that seemed hidden away from the world but not him. It wasn’t until other hundred years would he see you again but it was only for a moment. A minute where the two of you would meet, where you could shine with him over Earth to show them your love for one another but you were ripped away him all to quickly, your beautiful glow once again only being thrown into the darkness.

It may have been an eternity, it may have been many many light years but Earth was finally dying. Having bled itself and it’s soul to the greed of mortals but now their time has finally come. To say Bakugou was radiating would be an understatement as he watches from his place while Earth finally perished, leaving being nothing special in its leave.

Bakugou wasted no time, he was free and so were you, there wasn’t anything to keep the two of you apart. He was back at the same spot only meant for the both you and there you were, sitting on the edge of the river staring up at the purple and orange sky, a look of longing shown over your beautiful face and he couldn’t wait any longer as he makes his presence known but you sensed long before, how could you not?

You both waste no time in embracing each other, hanging on tight as if you were waiting for the second to be pulled away from him but that never came, only Bakugou’s passionate kiss against your lips, the kiss promising an eternity of love and happiness, to never be apart from another once more.

It was in this moment did Bakugou realized that he’ll give up everything to see you shine.

I honestly feel like some antis confuse their hate for Bakugou for their love of Deku

What I mean by that is Deku is such an incredibly likeable character to the point where even his flaws are often seen as endearing, whether it’s his lack of self confidence, self sacrifice or even things like his knack for getting involved into other people’s personal issues which is something Todoroki pointed out to him while he was talking about how he can possibly help Kota in episode 41

It’s very easy for us as the viewers to root for him in those kind of situations because we see the good intentions behind them and it’s very easy to admire Deku’s relentless need to help others but we can also see that from Todoroki’s point to view, to them it can come off as annoying and pretty much invasive.

Now don’t get me wrong, did Todoroki and Kota need a one man intervention? Absolutely but it’s very easy to say that because again of how pure Deku’s intentions are but also because the outcomes for both situations turned out to be very productive

While yes some could make the argument that in Todoroki’s case he practically asked for it by telling Deku about his families past but at the end of the day that wasn’t an invitation to get involved and he didn’t know Deku as a person that well if not at all so it’s not like he was expecting him to do what he did

I do get where the antis point of views come from, was Bakugou a bully for many years? Yes, did he tell Deku to kill himself? Yes, is his attitude towards Deku even now still questionable? Absolutely but at the end of day he IS growing, albeit rather almost frustratingly slow 😂 but some characters grow slower than others and I’d even say that his growth started rather early:

Like here for example he’s admitting that he wouldn’t be able to defeat Todoroki head on, he’s admitting the errors that he made during the combat training lesson that Momo pointed out but most importantly (at least to me) he’s admitting that Deku defeated him. If his pride really was as massive as it seems I really do not think he would acknowledge and admit these facts and on top of that he’s doing all this in front of Deku?? Yeah I’m not convinced he hates him as much as he thinks he does (also, this episode was called Bakugou’s start line which to me pretty much says everything, this is where his growth truly starts)

I’ve also seen some antis say that he’s not hero material due to his general demeanour and violent tendencies and like...so is Batman not a hero then? 😂 The same guy who breaks bones, skulks in the shadows, essentially uses fear as one of his main weapons and ‘interrogates’ thugs by hanging them off of buildings....no? 😂 Y’all have a very distorted view of what a hero can or should be....

I guess my question to antis is this: Do you just really hate Bakugou that much?? Or do you just love Deku that much? If you dislike or hate him that’s fine but at least figure out if it’s because of him and not solely because of Deku and in my opinion if you’re hating him because of the latter than you’re just ignoring his growth and how of an overall great character he is

Oh and stop saying repulsive stuff like you hope he dies because that is not ‘growth’ and you honestly should be ashamed of yourselves for saying such disgusting shit, especially since if he did, if Katsuki Bakugou died do you know the one person that would affect more than anyone? The one person who would experience an immeasurable amount of sorrow?

it really hurts me to see so many gazans asking us for help, though that's through no fault of their own. they've been forced to use a social media site that they're probably not familiar with (because tumblr has kind of faded out of popular consciousness), to interact with us in a second language, to distinguish themselves from the scammers who are taking advantage of genocide, and to ask strangers for help. i don't think there are any cultures where it's easy to ask for help like this, but i'm intimately familiar with how humiliating it can be in arab culture. please be kind, gracious and helpful to the gazans in your inbox. this is a desperate time for them, and in addition to the physical danger inflicted by "israel", the prices of basic resources in gaza are extremely high due to scarcity, and those that manage to escape to egypt are financially exploited by landlords there and have an extremely difficult time finding work due to their unofficial status as refugees. these families will continue to need our help and i hope we can all continue to provide it to the best of our ability.
