I've seen it stated pretty commonly, but since Jay is often shown holding something in his sleep in the early seasons, he's 100% the big spoon in whatever ship he's in, right?

Obviously the correlation isn't 1-1, but I think it makes the most sense for him to treat his partner as an oversized teddy bear. And then proceed to shock them accidentally every once in a while in his sleep.

no fr!? IM GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THAT! Like, can I just yap about this for a hot minute ??

I always hated Nadakhan with all of my heart as a kid, even if some of the things he did kinda went over my head, I always thought he was weird and creepy. he is different from the other villains, and his actions 100% show that he’s a CREEP. (COUGHS the scene where he goes to kiss Nya.. the literal teenager.. so lucky that scene cut off) I’m obviously not a parent so idk if I should rlly have a say on if it was a good idea to tackle this in a “kids show” or not. But hey, at least they depicted him and his actions as evil and disgusting (because they are).

Rewatching Skybound a few weeks back had me absolutely BAFFLED and SHOCKED at how much I truly missed as a kid about Nadakhan and his vile actions. It’s a VERY different experience watching Skybound and being mature and aware of things like that, especially as someone who has had some experiences with manipulation and grooming… Nadakhan shows all the signs- there’s no doubt in my mind that any scene portraying things he did (or possible things he could’ve done) were on purpose to represent that. I mean.. how come Cole found Jay in NADAKHAN’S room when he was rescued..? Why wasn’t Jay in his cell..??? (I got an icky feeling when I rewatched that scene.)

I genuinely think Skybound as a whole just has an underlying theme of pedophilia, grooming, manipulation, and sa. Yes sa too. Anyone want to remember the scene where Zane got pinned down by Mechanic and had his shirt unbuttoned?? Yeah, cause that was ALSO in Skybound. there’s a video on YouTube that points out many times where Nadakhan acted like that and shows the scenes of evidence to this. Im sure you’ve watched it already, but i’ll put it here anyway:

before Skybound: hair is always pretty nicely done, more of a gingerish color | scar where his eyebrow slit is | lighting bolt earrings he got in s4 | some lightning scars around his right eye | round baby face | hiding his freckles with makeup

after Skybound: hair is a little longer and more unkept, looks a little more brown than ginger now | scar under his right eye and on nose from when he got BEAT UP on Nadakhan’s ship- | more lightning scars on his face and body (bc of that one episode where they just let Jay get straight up struck by lightning on the boat 😭) | eye bags ✨ | only one lightning bolt earring bc his other got torn out painfully during a round of “Scrap N’ Tap”, which also caused a scar on his right ear | more malnourished-looking :( and less of a baby face | finally showing his freckles :>

You can obviously use these designs or ideas!! if you use them directly though pls credit me!! (Ik I didn’t come up with all the design choices here but still !)

the wolf!Jay au is basically just.. what if in the episode “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” the bones were not of a fangpyre, but of a wolf (possibly a form of dire wolf since they’re ancient?). The episode goes on the same with Jay slowly turning into a wolf, however at the end, Nya’s little kiss only stops him from fully turning into a wolf. Jay had waited too long, so now the effects were permanent. (Wolf ears, tail, wolf instincts and heightened senses, etc)

So now Jay just kinda has to live with that. He definitely struggles with his instincts (he might go rabid on full moons maybe hmmm) but it’s all good (it’s really not but he refuses to believe that things are not okay!)

I might change the reason for Jay turning into a wolf later, most likely after watching s8+, since I know that the Akita girl can turn into a wolf I think. ?? Is it even a wolf ?.. guys idk help- but maybe I could do something with that !! but for now that’s what starts off with the au. I was also thinking that maybe somehow the Tiger Widow venom (from s6) could turn him back to normal (?) and so the ninja were like “yippee kill two birds with one stone! defeat Nadakhan and get Jay to be human again!” BUT since they didn’t have enough of the venom, Jay was like “.. WELP I refuse to use this to cure myself so!” and that’s that. But again idk abt that it’s just an ideaaa ^^

Anyways I just like this au bc wolf hybrid Jay is cute.. like.. he’s only one apple tall!! I really want to reanimate scenes of the show but with wolf!Jay bc I think that’d be so fun and cute AA !!
