Rhaenyra at 16:
— took possession of Dragonstone as her own seat
— sailed and hunted
— sat at the foot of the Iron Throne when her father held court and attended small council meetings
— attended feasts and made allies
Aegon at 16:
— was lazy boy
— given to swilling ale and strongwine
— pinching and fondling any serving girl who strayed within his reach
God please triple their pain and give them no peace
Emma really describing Alicent as the angel on Rhaenyra's shoulder and Daemon being the devil ?! What the actual fuck ! Objectively, it would be the opposite. But I guess the team of this show only knows demonize Daemon instead of accepting him as the anti hero he is and husband of Rhaenyra who love her and whom she is supposed to love in return. Without forgetting not capable of accept the canonical reality of Alicent which is that she is purely and simply a villain / antagonist, Rhaenyra's adversary and especially only for the pre-war period to then pass the baton to Aegon II as Rhaenyra's adversary. So Alicent isn't supposed to be that important when war is declared. I really hate how this show destroyed the characters and their stories and relationships to feed their pretentious and misogynistic fanfiction (which they ironically think is super progressive).
Baela and Rhaena designs for my House of the Dragon Keychains!
"At the center of the merriment, cherished and adored by all, was their only surviving child, Princess Rhaenyra, the little girl the court singers dubbed “the Realm’s Delight.” Though only six when her father came to the Iron Throne, Rhaenyra Targaryen was a precocious child, bright and bold and beautiful as only one of dragon’s blood can be beautiful."
Oh you hate bran? You think he’s boring? You think he’s whiny? Should we throw a party? Should we tell the old gods? Wanna go tell bloodraven?
Oh don't mind me. I am once again upset and flabbergasted by the favoritism toward Greens in screen time ratio.
We get two long scenes of Aegon making a fool of himself but not Jace's reaction to the prophesy shown, we don't even hear him listen to all of it.
Overlong scenes of Alicent and her potential pregnancy and Larys but no more reactions shown to Rhaenyra's absence.
Two unnecessary long scenes of Gwayne making fun of Criston but we don't see Rhaenys saying goodbye to Corlys. No scene of Rhaenys interacting with Baela or Jace or Rhaenyra. Saying goodbye to them. Even though this was her last appearance. The showrunners disrespect toward Rhaenys needs to be studied. She had one interaction with each of her granddaughters in the whole show and nothing with her grandsons.
Overlong montage of Criston taking in the destruction but no scene of how Jace is placed at the centre of council in his mother's absence.
None of the Team Black characters are given room to breathe. They barely get any screen time. Their emotions and conflicts are made secondary to disposable filler scenes of Greens. While all Team Black scenes are rushed and given no room to breathe.
This is not only incredibly unfair but also making the show quite a bore to sit through. And HBO wonders why the ratings are falling. People don't want to see the same thing with Greens over and over again when they're not developing. They haven't earned excessive screentime. Believe me, everyone's tired of this mess.
"Rhaenyra always dressed richly, favoring purple and maroon velvets and golden Myrish lace in intricate patterns. Her bodice often glittered with pearls and diamonds, and there were always rings on her fingers"

Exclusive leaked hotd s3 footage of aegon and stormcloud escaping the gullet
when her bloodline literally led to the prince that was promised and people still fix their mouths to say her nasty half brother was the true king
When will the fandom stop acting like Aegon is a little kid?
Did he wanted to become King? Not really, at least not before he was crowned. Yet, he accepted to be crowned and thus he also usurped his sister. He's partly responsible for the civil war that tears Westeros apart. He's not its biggest victim as some of his stans claim. Passively accepting to be crowned and remaining inactive when he could have handed his sister the crown and thus avoiding the war and the slaughter of innocents IS a choice of his.
