How to Build a Life That Matches Your Pinterest Board
by Soleau Club
Weβve all got that Pinterest board. You know the one: sun-drenched mornings in linen sheets, aΓ§aΓ bowls on marble countertops, matcha in hand, soft-glam makeup, glowing skin, matching workout sets, walking through life with that effortless rich girl aura.
But the question is... how do you actually live that life?
The answer: you donβt just manifest itβyou build it. One soft step, one beautiful detail, one aligned decision at a time. Here's how I turned my "dream girl board" into my real lifeβand how you can too.
First things first: take a step back and ask yourselfβdoes my current reality even remotely reflect the vision Iβm saving to boards at 2am?
This is your aesthetic audit. Pull up your fave board (you know the one), and ask:
What vibes are consistent? (Light, luxury, wellness, minimal, bold, cozy?)
Whatβs the version of me who lives this life like?
Whatβs one thing I could add, shift, or release to get closer to that?
This isnβt about pressureβitβs about alignment. Youβre simply noticing the gap between dream and real life so you can start closing it like a boss.
Pinterest girls donβt just drink coffeeβthey have a moment with it. They donβt go for a walkβthey take a sun-soaked stroll in a matching set while listening to an empowering podcast.
So ask yourself: How can I turn the most ordinary moment into something sacred and cinematic?
Try:
Lighting a candle while doing your skincare routine (bonus: play Lana or SZA in the background)
Drinking your lemon water from a wine glass, because why not?
Wearing that silk robeβeven if youβre just working from home
You donβt have to wait for the perfect life to show up. You create it, by turning the mundane into magic.
Morning routines. Evening rituals. Soft girl Sundays. These are the glue of the Pinterest lifestyleβbecause itβs not just the aesthetics, itβs the energy.
Think:
A slow, phone-free morning with journaling, hot tea, and face mist
An evening wind-down with stretching, magnesium, and your favorite body oil
A βthat girlβ workout you actually enjoyβlike hot girl Pilates or dance cardio in your living room
Design these rituals around how you want to feel. Thatβs the key to making it sustainable.
You donβt need to drop $10k on a full-life makeover. (Unless you can... then slay.) But most of the time? Itβs about those tiny, luxe-feeling switches.
Try these low-effort upgrades:
Swap plastic containers for glass (your fridge will look straight-up chic)
Get matching hangersβtrust me, it changes the vibe of your closet
Use linen spray on your pillow before bed (Pinterest girl core)
Add flowersβeven grocery store onesβto your table, desk, or bathroom
Itβs not about being rich, itβs about feeling rich in your space.
Letβs not forget the emotional clutter on your feed. You canβt build a dreamy life if your mind is flooded with chaos. Itβs time to:
Unfollow people who drain your energy or make you spiral
Mute drama accounts, clickbait, or βthat one friendβ who only posts complaints
Curate your feed to match your visionβfollow accounts that inspire, elevate, and align with your vibe
Your Pinterest life isnβt just IRLβitβs digital too.
βWhat would Pinterest Me do today?β Would she skip breakfast and doom scroll? Or would she make a green smoothie, put on SPF, and go for a soft walk?
Would she settle for chaos, or would she protect her peace like itβs vintage Chanel?
Let that question guide your choices until it becomes second nature. Eventually, you become her. Effortlessly.
Building a life that looks like your Pinterest board isnβt about perfection. Itβs about alignment, intention, and beauty in the everyday. Itβs about showing up for the version of you that already exists in your dreamsβand giving her a real place to live.
So go ahead. Romanticize your life. Buy the flowers. Make the smoothie. Say no to chaos. Say yes to joy. That Pinterest girl is already you. Youβre just waking her up. π·β¨

β β β this isnβt a self-help guide. iβm not your guru and this isnβt a powerpoint on gratitude. this is just me. sitting on the floor. iβm not here to raise your vibration. iβm here to askΒ why you think you need raising in the first place. i'm here because iβve been hoarding revelations like they're concert wristbands. i'm here because reality is porous and iβve got the straws. no, literally, iβve sucked on timeβs milkshake and found it lukewarm. we can do better.
you will not find steps here. there is no staircase. i burned it. we fly now.

Small things that changed my life
Complimenting people. If you think someone looks good, tell them!!
Prioritising self-care!! I always do my nails, take care of my hair, skin-care. Non-negotiable.
Taking more pictures. Capturing all the little fun and lovely moments and being able to look back at them is one of my favourite things!! <33
Making time to call my friends/family. Catching up with my friends or my Mom, who travels for work, is a must!!
Finding hobbies that don't include my phone or computer. Reading, baking, working out, shopping, journaling, making collages, planning outfits <3
Stretching and working out regularly. Feeling good and looking good? Win-win.
Smiling more. Forced happiness. Kinda like manifesting, lol..
Listening to more music. I always listen to music. Life is a movie; obviously, you need a soundtrack??
Going on long walks. I started two years ago when the whole 'hot girl walk' thing was trendy, and now I can't live without it!! I look forward to my walk all day long lmao.
Hydrating >>> exfoliating. I used to exfoliate my face every day⦠big mistake⦠HYDRATION.
Annotating. I've always been an avid reader, but annotating my books has completely changed my reading experience. Love it!!

π what is pilates?
pilates is a form of strength training exercise that focuses on low to medium impact movements to improve muscle tone, stability, endurance, and mobility. pilates also focuses more on the smaller muscles of the body compared to traditional strength or weight training.
π benefits of pilates
including the benefits that exercise generally brings, pilates:
improves mind-body connection and body control
improves active flexibility and mobility
works the core, improving stability
improves coordination and balance
reduces mental and physical stress
works muscles that can be neglected in our daily lives
treats and prevents body pain, including menstrual pain
teaches you how to pair your breath with your body
keeps the joints healthy without putting pressure on them
π where to start
while you can absolutely start with studio or reformer classes, you can also do pilates routines on youtube! i recommend move with nicole and dansique fitness. if you want to get your cardio in as well, i absolutely recommend eleni fit. her workouts are some of the best iβve ever tried!
π personal tips
keep your core in mind. core strength is a major benefit of pilates because each movement requires at least a mild amount of core work to keep your body stable, so do your best to keep the engagement throughout.
start slow. pilates movements can take a while to fully understand and it can take a while to build the mind-body connection, so donβt push yourself too far in the beginning. your coordination will improve over time!
donβt underestimate it! while the movements are generally slower than other types of exercise, you will work your muscles just as much and in a way they may not have been worked before. sometimes i even find pilates more difficult than hiit or weights!
