I’m usually pretty neutral on soulmate fics but I like this one because zoro pretty much immediately fucks himself over with it and they have to pull back from that

This one is short but sweet, zoro starts saying what’s on his mind not realizing he’s literally just proposing out of nowhere

Little sanji fic - to you, formerly me by Trixtree

This one isn’t a zosan fic but I’m including it because I adore it. I see a lot of zosan fics where sanji gets reverted to baby sanji and gets attatched to zoro(which are fine but not my favorite) but never any where adult sanji gets to stay and interact with baby sanji which they go into with this one,, they do some really cool stuff with seeing how it effects both Sanji’s and the crew by extension

The fic that started my Law obsession. Absolutely amazing work, beautiful beyond words. When I first started reading it I absolutely could NOT put it down, I stayed up until 4am devouring every word.

I can't get enough of Sanji and voyuerism. Hot as hell, and I absolutely love Reader being as big of a pervert as Sanji is.

The entire Meet Cute series is amazing, but Law's really holds a special place in my heart. I'm really fond of fake dating, and Pandora is absolutely amazing at writing the tension that comes with it. It also doesn't hurt that Doflamingo is being a hot villain in the background for a lot of it.

Another fantastic Law story, and one I'm deeply fond of. We could all use a little (or a lot) of tough love from Law.

First off: not for the faint of heart, I am not joking, please read the tags. But for those of you down for something fucked up: please please PLEASE read this. It's wonderfully tense and thrilling and hot in all of the right ways.

Birthday Request - Caught in the Act by @quinloki (Kaku x Reader)

Once again: mind the tags. I genuinely find myself thinking about this fic on the regular. It's the perfect storm of Things Froggie's Into, I'm SUCH a sucker for yandere.

I'll Fucking Digest You One Kiss At A Time by @strawberriemarswrites (Bartolomeo x Reader)

Another one where I beg of you, please check the tags first! I'm very much a yandere fan, and a very big fan of Bartolomeo, who I would argue is CRIMINALLY underrated. This fic is an absolute masterpiece exploring him, the line between obsession and love, and the consequences when that line gets crossed.

This scene we all know, where Sanji kicks Luffy, speaks to me in a very deep way.

While of course, Sanji's goal was to hopefully push Luffy away, and put his life as a member of the Straw Hat crew behind him for good, this scene particularly shows us just how much hatred Sanji held towards himself. His captain knows this, hence his quote:

"No matter how much you kick me, you're the one getting hurt."

The way he speaks to Luffy, slowly more agitated with his kicks and facial expressions, tells us something important.

"Go away." "Get out of my sight." "Get out of my face, now!"

Can easily be classified as Sanji talking to himself and the shame he felt, placed back into the core of his trauma, surrounded by his abusers.

Sanji was kicking himself.

If I counted correctly, Sani kicks Luffy a total of 61 times, including his final blow, which is not shown in this clip. I've written extensively before about how well Oda writes about trauma, and how he implements buddhist philosophy into his works.

This is just my own obsession, reading into things. However, in the Dhammapada, a collection of the Buddha's teachings, verse 61 tells us the following:

"If a person seeking a companion cannot find one who is better than or equal to him, let him resolutely go on alone."

Sanji was drowning in shame and trauma over being surrounded by his abusers again, and he tried to walk the path alone, convincing himself it was the right thing to do. To sacrifice himself.

Luffy did not fall for it, and accepted every blow, emphasizing how Sani truly hated himself, as victims of abuse regularly do.

This scene is immensely powerful for that reason.
