I just saw abel design in the new Christmas pic, and I have to say, I did not expect him to be blonde

Now, my friend and I talk about abel design when the leaks came out. And we were not the biggest fans on him looking like a copy and paste of adam.

So, him being blonde is not the bad thing. It is just the fact it feels like we have a lot of blonde characters already. Why not give other colors a try.

I did black, brown, and ginger-brown hair colors to see how which one looked on him

And out of the entire bunch, I have to say ginger-brown is my favorite! It matches the overall vibe of his character, and it goes great with his color palette.

I love how it canon in welcome home that the joyful siblings each have an element in the process of making flowers bloom.

Like Franny is the rain, Jonesy is the grass, Bea is the sun, and Julie is the flower itself.

At first, I was so confused because it didn't make sense, and then I realized each sibling (expect Julie) had what flowers need to have to grow: rain, grass, and the sun.

HOW OLD IS FUCKING GIAUS?!!!

We know he's older than 50. In 3X9 Alice gave him a book for his 50th birthday and that was before she left before the purge.

The purge happened 20 years ago when Arthur was born. That makes him 70ish.

At this point it has been 4 years-ish because of the year uther had the knights looking for Morgana, after Merlin poisoned Morgana and morgouse took her.

So now he is 74-ish.

Then the 3 year gap between season 4 and 5. Now he is like 77-ish.

THIS MOTHER FUCKER IS ALMOST 80 YEARS OLD! HOW IS HE STILL ALIVE!

Merlin and Leon being immortal doesn't stop any wounds from scarring, they play as a reminder of what kills them every single time, and they can very much still feel pain from them.

So they took to treating the others wounds whenever they’re bothering them after they found out about each others immortality.

I'd imagine they both always have backup bandages and salve with them just in case the others scars start to bother them.

They sneak into each other's chambers (mainly Leon's) whenever they want to check over the other's scars, which most of the time ends up with them falling asleep in each other's rooms (which has caused many rumors..)

They also have matching scars, Merlin's burn scar from Nimueh and Leon's burn scars from Kilgharrah (headcanon) so they know exactly what the other went through.

I really wished Leon and Merlin interacted more

This isn’t even really just because i ship Merleon, they just would’ve made a really good duo.

The few interactions we have with them show that they do get along very well.

We see leon seen ruffling Merlin’s hair and even joke around with him. He fully trusts Merlin and doesn’t think of him to do anything wrong.

I feel like the cup of life or maybe even Kilharrahs attack would’ve been good points for them to get closer, it would’ve given them something to connect on (mainly on Merlin’s end, unless he were to reveal his magic and all that) or at least something to talk about.

Their relationship has changed from when they first met to there last few interactions.

After the “Lamia” episode we should’ve seen some type of acknowledgement of what Leon and the others did because Leon did physically hurt Merlin, even if it was under a spell.

Leon shoving Merlin around did seem like a parallel to when he did it in “the sins of the father” but the difference was that back then he did it on his own accord.

Leon has obviously changed since then, and Merlin knows that, so it hurt him more to see him revert back to that.

Honesty hate it in fanfictions where they make Merlin this little loser with no friends - like have you SEEN the show. Merlin is making people trip over themselves when he smiles. Everyone is in love with him and they almost fight each other just for his attention
