đ An RP experience.
So, a rant about an RP experience from me, the munâŚhmmmâŚI dunno, most of my experiences have been alright.  Iâve had a few that havenât been greatâŚbut in truth, Iâm more frustrated/angry/guilty of being the one to be ranting about.  I know Iâve made a mess of a few RP situations and burned a lot of bridges.  The biggest issue with me is when depression sinks in and I have this feeling thatâŚno one wants to play with me anywayâŚso whatâs the point? Thatâs when Iâm the worstâŚand all I can offer is that, if you happen to find yourself the target of my ireâŚjust please be patient with me. Iâll come around in a day or twoâŚI promiseâŚ
I just want to sleep sleep forever. drift off with the waves as they meet the shore where I lay...lie...gods i hate this language. nothing but words. words donât fix people. i know i shouldnt feel this way but i have been so broken down and crumpled up that i dont know how to feel otherwise. and its all still my fault. im still the one to blame. Im still the one too selfish to pay attention to those around me how can I even begin to look at them and see their feelings and hurts when all I can see are mine. standing out in such sharp relief in front of me, as if the sun was pouring through an open window behind them so that all I could see was their forms. I canât feel, I canât think, I canât hear anything in this pit. Im sorry. Im sorry Im not strong enough on my own. i hope Hipperâs solution...
He said âwhat if youâre dreaming of someone you used to be?â Â And the damn scar burned like it knew!
What if itâs not someone I used to be   What if itâs someone she was?
I need to find a way to Idylshire, for the library there. Â Or Ishgard, to research her house
Seven hells, I hope this gives me answersâŚ
Sasai Sai, a cousin of the twins, brought Kirikun home, at least to The Tower. He was alive, but still asleep - hadnât woken for the weeks he was in reunion Sai was told. There was nothing very wrong with him, that they could tell or she could tell but there he was. just dropped in the bed and not moving, wrapped up in bandages.
I thank the gods my brother is back and alive...now if heâd only waken
Eee! I'm the River Knight? Yay!
((Lâyhta, with the The Priestess, The River Knight, and another adventurer, sneaking through part of a Castrum on a leve. âThis really seems like a trap, you know?â))
⤠+ â âHi, Ana! I hope youâre feeling better... you know. You probably need a hug more than I do.â L'yhta then reaches back, trying to catch the xaela in a reverse hug while simultaneously brushing her cheek gently, affectionately against her horn.
Ana nods a little, giving the purple-haired mage another quick squeeze before releasing her. âIâm doingâŚalright, I suppose. Miss Kerin suggested I stay busy doing worthwhile things, and to write letters to myself to tryâŚsorting everything out in my head. Iâm doing ok. Just ready toâŚget back out and do something productive to help the situation, instead of cowering in the Tower.â She frowns. âIâm sorry I missed theâŚumâŚnight at the cliff the other day. Did you have a good time at least?â
((Thanks, @little-purple-thundercloud! This is fun! :) ))
âWicked white, Angan, not again! I told yeâ already, we donâ âave no berry fruits ye be after!â
Angan tilted head to the side, staring at the hume merchant in confusion. âBut I havenât asked for any berries, Varden. I was just coming for the daily supplies like always, for the Spagyrics. What is this about berries now?â The young drahn woman shook her head, her mop of unkempt black hair falling over her shoulder. This was the third time today on her daily rounds through the Musica Universalis that someone had been exasperated with her for some reason or another.
The hume pointed a fat finger at her. âAnâ another thing, how the bleedinâ âells âre ye changinâ yer hair so damned fast like? It ainât natural it ainât! Ye look a sight better now than yeâ did just a bell ago, thaâs fer sure. Â Bleedinâ bright pink as a pixie, as if we didnâ âave enough bright colors ta stare at in the sky! But the answerâs still âno,â so donâ think of addinâ â â
âBerries to the order, no, I got that. Pink hair? Me? Have you been drinking again, Varden? Itâs only the eighth bell in the morn!â She took the sack of vials with an annoyed âthank youâ and turned to walk away, shaking her head.
All morning, her usual rounds had led to one odd encounter after another. Pink hair. Barely dressed. Smelling of seaweed and âwetâ â whatever that smelled like â and always, it seemed, just a bell or two ahead of her.
It was difficult in a town like the Crystarium to be mistaken for someone else. Sure, the occasional dwarf was hard to tell apart, and the zun all looked alike anyway, but there were so few people left in the world to begin withâŚwellâŚit was difficult to find someone that would look or sound so similar to you that people youâd known for years could mistake you.
âWhat bloody sinner is going around acting like me,â Angan wondered aloud, making her way to the next stall. She paused, thinking her route again. The imposter was further ahead of her by at least a bell; what if she cut her off at her final stop? Â Angan hurried out of the markets to the aetheryte, then down the steps to the Horotorium. It was usually her last stop, so she could go to the library for a new book, and then take the aetheryte back to the Exedra. She hurried down the stairs, her powerful tail swinging behind her.
In the Horotorium, no one seemed to notice anything amiss with her presence, other than noting how oddly *early* she was. âAnd youâre sure, there hasnât been another drahn that looks like me down hereâ she asked the botanists.
âNo one except you, Angan. Is something the matter?â
She shook her head, scratching behind her horn a moment in thought. âThanks anyway,â she replied, turning away. She approached the Cabinet of Curiosity, deciding she could at least get her new book while she was down here, and then return to her daily errands.
The doors of the great library swung open in front of her, and she looked up in time to see â
She blinked.
She saw herself blink back at her. At least, it could have been her, if she had decided to put a flower in her hair and color it bright pink. Or if she had decided to dress as if she were cavorting on a stage in Eulmore.
Angan raised a finger, pointing at the other woman. âYou!â She took a threatening step towardsâŚwell, herself. âI have been looking all over for -!â
The other woman went wide-eyed, then made a dash for the nearby aetheryte. Her hand reached out and she was gone in a flash, just as Angan managed to hustle to close the gap with her. She cried out in frustration; the woman could be anywhere in the Crystarium now, or even leaving.
But there had been no mistaking that faceâŚthose hornsâŚthe tail even. Her eyes had been ringed yellow, like AnganâsâŚthe patterns of scales covering her. The woman could have been her twin, had Angan not known better.
âWho the hells do you think you are,â she said to no one in particular. âHow did youâŚwicked whiteâŚâ
At that moment, Angan thought it may be wise to finish her errands in the markets â the sooner she finished, the sooner she could enjoy a much-needed drink.
they were there and I walked in and I panicked and I just walked away to go read in peace
is it not enough that they banish me from their friendship. but then they insist on taking my refuge from me as well?
i will give my gift this starlight and then i will not burden any of them any longer. no one wants me here anyway
Jess had a great sword that she could summon (literally pull it from her aether, out of thin air) called Blood Thorn. This was tied to her family's bloodvine curse, and the blade was identical to other female members of her family (it was the same blade). Now that the curse has passed on to Ana...well...we'll see when she summons it what happens to it. Ze's daggers aren't named, though he has considered rather silly ideas like "Thunder" and "Lightning," to go with his Stormcrow persona.
I donât mean just the in-game weapons, but does your character have a family weapon that has a name? Do they have a relic they found? Or did they name it themselves?
Anafenzaâs Result:
Unicorn
The unicorn is a legendary animal that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead. In European folklore, the unicorn is often depicted as a white horse-like or goat-like animal with a long horn and cloven hooves (sometimes a goat's beard). In the Middle Ages and Renaissance, it was commonly described as an extremely wild woodland creature, a symbol of purity and grace, which could only be captured by a virgin. If you get this result, you are typically seen as modest. You offer great advice to your friends in need and you're generally viewed as your friend group's therapist. You're empathetic and you are always willing to help out your friends whenever you can. You're bubbly and seen as a little ray of sunshine.
