i wouldnt say ultra impact provides anything of major substance to any of bnha, and of course you run into any issue of arguing its canonicity.

but i do feel very strongly that it is very good at portraying the characters, like the writers get the essence of a character even if nothing of bombast is being done with them.

yes this is entirely because i am consistently happy with what materials the game provides for 1B, we got a 1B monoma-centric event which understands both that he is a competitive little prick who really would like to stick it to 1A, while also being intensely aware (in a very humble way) that he is NOT better at utilizing the quirks of his classmates after pulling off a fairly complicated strategy

Of course, he immediately undercuts himself by going back to his, "and with this we will be better than 1-A" schtick, but that too is part of his character.

so here's my wip for a Monster Hunter AU i was working on

Starlight shines through the window of the hunter's residence in Selianna, reflected through Shimi's eyes. The room was dark and quiet, unlike the rest of the steaming base which was alive with hunters grabbing drinks in the gathering hub and those working to keep the whole thing functional. Not to say she was alone though.

Another hunter lay next to her, swaddled in blankets, and loosely holding her hand. Shimi squeezes Tetsutetsu's hand, receiving one in return, like an affirmation that they're still alive despite the frigidness of the Hoarfrost Reach. She blinks slowly, taking in the warmth of her own blanket as she watches the snow fall and disappear before it can even hit the ground outside.

Personality: Stubborn and stalwart to a fault. Due to past trauma, Shimi has become more closed off while wrangling with depression and anxiety. 

Appearance: Dark navy hair and golden eyes. Her hair is really short, a little over shoulder length, and it’s really wavy and puffy. Her eyes are almond shaped and have a visible eyelid crease when open. Her body is a bit lanky, but not too skinny. Her body is toned. She is relatively flat-chested and prefers to wear the male uniform. She has faint scars across her arms, as well as various hairline scars and scratches from branches and twigs. She has one faint, long scar on her lower right arm.

i was implying they have animal quirks in their family Kirishima and TetsuTetsu are dragons like their aunt Ryukyu and Tatami's a turtle because turtles have shells and shells are kinda hardening even if she doesn't have the shell part in her quirk i honest might just change her quirk to she can do anything a turtle can do she doesn't have a shell but the skin on her back is tough like one

I am absolutely obsessed with that family tree tho its SO cute literally the cutest one I think i've seen AND the implications on inhereted looks is even cuter

I forgot to post this redesign I did for Tetsu’s hero costume, cause like, cmon this mans gonna get some frostbite! 

Just added an undersarmor shirt and some gloves and bracers(i think thats what it is???) and extended the top bar on the mask!

*dw shimis normal costume is suited for winter already*
