Datura inoxia-Here in Puerto Rico species of the Datura and Brugmansia genera are commonly referred to as Campana (Bell, in reference to the flower) and are notorious for the hallucinations and delirium they can cause when ingested.
Passiflora sp. Commonly known as passionflower, this plant produces sedative compounds as well as harmala alkaloids, a well-known class of plant derived antidepressants which inhibit the breakdown of neurotransmitters and which can be intoxicating in high doses.
Monotropa uniflora. This plant is in the Blueberry/Rhododendron family (Ericaceae) and due to a lack of chlorophyll it gains it's nutrients by acting as a parasite on Russula mushrooms which grow off the roots of trees.
