I am Abdullah Al-Hajj, 25 years old. I graduated from high school with big dreams of earning a university degree, but life took a different turn. Due to the difficult circumstances we faced, I couldnât pursue my academic aspirations. Instead, I joined my brother in the field of chemical manufacturing, and I quickly learned the craft. It became the primary source of income for our family. Through this work, I was able to get married and start building my own life.
But everything changed when the war broke out in Gaza. The relentless bombings destroyed not just our workplace, but also every hope and dream we had built. The factory that had provided for our family was reduced to rubble. I found myself struggling to provide for even the most basic necessitiesâfood, water, and medical care for my pregnant wife, who is expecting our first child.
As the war intensified and the destruction spread to our neighborhood, we were forced to flee to a safer area. We found shelter in a makeshift tent, which barely protected us from the scorching summer heat or the bitter winter cold. Life in the tent has been harsh, and survival has become a daily struggle.
My younger brother, Bilal Al-Hajj, always had big dreams. From a young age, he aspired to become a professional football player. Recently, Bilal graduated from high school and enrolled in university, determined to balance his education with his passion for football. His dream was to play for one of the major football clubs, a goal he had worked tirelessly toward for years.
But the war shattered Bilalâs dreams as well. The harsh realities of our situationâthe struggle for food, water, and basic medical careâhave made it impossible for him to chase his passion. The war has not only destroyed homes and buildings but also ambitions, hopes, and the future we once envisioned.
Your donations can make a life-changing difference for my family. We need to evacuate my family of six from Gaza, and the cost of permits and coordination to leave is about $5,000 per person. Once we reach Egypt, your support will help secure shelter and cover initial living expenses as we adjust to a new life. The ongoing siege in Gaza has made survival increasingly difficult, with skyrocketing prices and severe shortages of food and water. Your generous contributions will help us meet immediate needs and begin rebuilding our lives. Please consider donating through the link belowâyour help can offer us a chance for safety, stability, and hope.
Your kindness can give my family a chance to escape the devastation, protect the next generation, and reignite hope for a peaceful and dignified life.Â
Thank you for standing with us in these difficult times.
Warm regards, Abdullah Al-Hajj
i love having freewill
Isis: Dandelions symbolize everything I want to be in life.
OsĂris : Fluffy and dead with a gust of wind?
Isis: Unapologetic. Hard to kill. Feral, filled with sunlight, bright, beautiful in a way that the conventional and controlling hate but cannot ever fully destroy. Stubborn. Happy. Bastardous. Friends with bees. Highly disapproving of lawns. Full of wishes that will be carried far after I die.
Horus: Edible.

Trader Joseph Pancakes (TJ), the tiny kitten I helped rescue from a storm drain outside my local Trader Joe's, celebrating my 40th birthday. He has no idea what's going on, has only been here for two days, but he's game for a party.
This started as a cute doodle, then the demons got me
Sekhmet, The âblood-drinkerâ Warrior Goddess.
ÂŤBeloved, Sekhmet
I write to you with a knot in my chest, with words that weigh heavy like stones in the river of what we once were. I watch as your beauty fades into a haze of fire, like ashes escaping a forgotten bonfire.
After every battle, you retreat into the depths of the good red, drowning the glory that was stolen from you. Everyone fears your nature, when all you seek is a chance to show them that you know how to love us, how to protect us.
And so, between the wine and the haze, I lost you. I will lose you. Because you are fire: you warm, you illuminate, but you also consume. And I, from the shadows of a void my duty demands I fill, can only love you in silence, knowing I can never stay by your side without burning.
Yours, faithfully.Âť

Hello dear .. Please do not ignore our suffering
My name is Salman Helles from the afflicted and massively destroyed Gaza Strip..
My family consists of many children, women and elderly people and we are suffering from horrific tragic conditions .. Our house was bombed in the northern Gaza Strip and we were displaced to the southern Gaza Strip to Deir al-Balah and the family was scattered in tents and shelters in Deir al-Balah .. The conditions are extremely tragic where children suffer from the spread of diseases among them and the elderly and women in my family suffer from miserable conditions ..
There is no water, food or electricity in the Gaza Strip and the treatment is getting worse day after day ..
For more than 330 days we have been oppressed and wronged in the Gaza Strip and we are exposed to violent barbaric bombing ..
We would never ask for help and donations but the miserable conditions in the Gaza Strip forced us to do so ..
I appeal to the owners of human consciences and free people in this world to provide us with help ..
Your help, no matter how small, means a lot to us because it contributes to saving us and alleviating our suffering ..
Please donate to us or share my campaign On your blog and for your friends
I assure you that my campaign is completely legitimate
she has been pickled for her crimes
When people call from charities asking for donations or for me to increase my monthly contribution, I get high off the change in their mood when I can say yes. They always sound tired and hopeless while trying to hide it at the beginning and then they're so energized and I can hear the smile in their voice. It's like "fuck yeah, I did that." I have no idea what the success rate is for those calls, presumably low, I might've just made someone's whole day and helped a good cause at the same time.
Fuck altruism purists. I say it's right and good to feel good about doing good.
P.S. join me and donate to a Native charity this Thanksgiving.
Only day you can reblog this
