Rewatching AVPM and the fact that multiple of these performers have made it to Broadway since this silly low-budget show from 16 years ago makes me so happy

decided to go through all 100+ episodes of reddit stories just to make some silly little statistics so if anyone's curious here it is <3 first with all the duos!

then individual appearances! yes macdoesit does get his own inclusion lol they just love inviting him

now couch sides.... this is probably the silliest chart out of all of them but i found some of them so interesting! like ian choosing the left side 15 out of 17 eps (~88.2%) while guests are usually on the right side! (even with mac's appearances combined)

and finally duo statistics!!! this was the only reason i did this whole thing tbh - at first i thought first place was gonna be courtgela but they were just one behind changela heh. also every other duo that wasn't mentioned only appeared once!

Because I love his and Angela's dynamic, guy who looks kinda edgy but is actually sweet is literally Damien, he'd give the role more depth than R*bert did, DAMANGELA DUET, and also I lowkey feel like his voice would fit CaliforM.I.A better than R*bert's ever did anyway 🫣 like Damien's voice is made for that kinda rock song that is CaliforM.I.A

This also just feels like the natural progression of Ethan. Hear me out! Like we got normal one dimensional Ethan

It makes sense that the next step in this Pokemon evolution of Ethan is buff Italian Ethan with earrings and tattoos

I saw another anon talking about not really getting all the Damangela hype so, I think what a lot of people get wrong about how Ang reacts to what Damien says is- It's all on camera. In front of HUGE groups of people on a set. There's no way in hell I'd be openly flirting with anybody in that kind of scenario! if I can be slightly delusional- I don't think she knows how to talk herself out of a lot of the scenarios he puts her in. Not in a bad way! but in a "brain is not working, handsome man just said something sweet and is paying so much attention to me" way! and her best response is to ignore or deflect

She obviously has a big soft spot for him (almost bigger than his for her), with her constantly reassuring him when he does things well, yes-and-ing his jokes, and forcefully pulling him into convos. (and practically standing on him in tntls😊)

I can kind of see where people are coming from with "she's just like that!" "she tries to make everyone feel good!" but there's too many little things she does that makes it apparent she truly cares a lot for the guy

A great example is him flirting with her as Todd. She had no idea what to do. She's admitted on the Pretty Gay podcast that she kind of struggles with flirtation and how to react to it sometimes, or how to reciprocate, whether it's a playful thing or something with intention behind it.

It's just very clear when you watch them together that they really care about each other to me. It's far more subtle than say, Shayne and Damien's dynamic, so I can see why a lot of people miss things. They speak their own little language.

For anyone who thinks she doesn't like him, watch some compilations of the two of them and pay attention to the small things.
