POV: You stop to talk to your coordinator for your college classes and end up having a second breakdown of the day that leads to the discovery that the school once again fucked up your schedule and you now have to pay for being over the maximum allotted credits

Imagining an alien species that has a buncha carbs or whatever as skin so that when a human spits on them they begin to melt and therefore humans would have “acid spit” to them (because human saliva has amylase or whatever that can dissolve sugars)

I sit here in woe as I dutifully await the day my husband will come home from the war. I tell myself repeatedly that he will survive and return to father our child.

(AO3 is down and it crashed literally right before I could start the next chapter after a really heated cliffhanger)
