THIS IS AMAZING FAM!!!!!! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!! ๐ฅน๐ฅน๐๐๐๐๐
After seeing @stardustkrishnaverse 's post about how our Kanha shares our grief and helps us to overcome them, I just wanna share this incident where this EXACT thing happened with me.
So, many of you may be aware that I've gotten into the Western dance society of my college. Soooo yeah. It was time to contribute to the funds. After doing so, you become official members of the society.
Now, here's a thing about my family: Dancing is not seen as something deserving of respect. Especially Western dance forms.
Sooo yeah, naturally my mom revolted. Like, how I'd spoil my academics for something insignificant, how I'd side-line my academics for my passion and stuff. I don't blame her. But then again, the fact that she just assumed I wouldn't be able to juggle the two things together hurt me.
In my childhood, I was barred from learning to dance at the age of eight because my father hated dancing (He still does). Since then till now, I have never asked them to let me dance professionally. And now when I had this golden opportunity, I was being asked to just let it go.
It may not seem like a big deal, but it WAS a VERY big deal for me.
I tried making my mom understand, but then she threw the final weapon, "Talk to your father".
And I knew it was impossible to make him understand. So, I just considered all my paths leading me to dead ends. I felt so freaking lost, I just cried my heart out. Then I legit called for Keshav. I requested him, more like begged him, from all my heart to help me through this mess. Like, I just simply surrendered.
And help he did. I texted my father about the situation. He called me the next day and talked to me about how I would handle both academics and dance and then he agreed for me to join the society officially.
A man who is simply repulsed at the idea of dancing agrees for his daughter to join a Western dance society.
Now tell me my Keshav isn't right beside me 24/7, listening to all my problems and waiting for me to ask for his help. From that day on, I feel more than reassured and loved knowing that my sakha is there for me every single moment <3
Day 2
"Ya Devi Sarv Bhuteshu Brahmacharini rupen samsthita Namah tasyai Namah tasyai Namah tasaiye Namo Namah "
She walks on lands of whole universe, baths in celestial rivers , Wears planets as Rudraksh and drapes herself in light of thousand Suns .
Mata Parvati in her brahmcharini swaroop when sat to do penance She was accompanied by tiger and a pair of pigeons which symbolise in a way determination that needs courage and vision to be together with the her true form As AdyaShakti , Thus she called as Eka " Who is One and only like herself" or " Who has obtained oneness with herself"
She personifies the power of wisdom , knowledge, perseverance and Strong will. When her thoughts reach beyond the boundaries of illusion and restrictions upon free thinking. She breaks the barriers of orthodox vision , and challanges the prejudiced teachings passed toย generations . She gives the wisdom of the mind ย to look beyond what is perceived by just eyes , experiencing the knowledge of whole cosmos within oneself .ย
She embodies inside every person who believes in progressive thinking, who doesn't shy away from challenging the superficial norms imposed on humanity, who have willingness to debate with the falsehood spreading in society, those who read , listen and think . The scholer of modern times , she is in you , she is in me , She is Brahmachaarini.ย
On this second night of Navratri festival let's celebrate this energy of nature as power of knowledge within everyone , with this dance we call Raas
Raas-is the path to self-discovery, harmony and wisdom within every form of เชฌเซเชฐเชนเซเชฎเชเชพเชฐเชฟเชฃเซ

*Ram sees Hanuman's curly thick hair*
Ram: I think I should get a perm
Sita: Not in this lifetime you're not
*one reincarnation later*
Radha: Ok, fine I admit it's cute
I think we don't talk much about this trio!
Balram, Krishna, Subhadra !!!!
The most iconic sibling trio in Hindu myths!!!
Ugh look at my man Balram giving his iconic angry look but he is a softie from the inside! And Krishna, like always, smiling and looking oh so gorgeous! And look at Subhadra lying over her two brothers' legs, ugh such a queen!
The most beautiful!!
Ok one thing they don't show on screen of Mahabharat Adaptation is Draudapi was โRajasvalaโ meaning โa menstruating womanโ when the whole cheer-haran happened.
At that time, a Rajavala used to wear one single cloth or โEkvastraโ, so when the horrific vastra-haran began, it was that vastra that turned to a never-ending miracle.
One thing that I also noticed is how there's now this disgusting taboo that a woman is "impure" during her period, but Kanha ji listened and he came to her rescue when she called. He turned that same blood-stained cloth never-ending just to save her honor!
I wish this taboo will go away because God is in You so how can you ever be โImpureโ especially experiencing something very natural and perhaps healthy too? He would've come to her rescue whether she was menstruating or not, but I love this detail because this signifies that nothing makes a difference to him, so why are we making women feel bad or worse "impure" in the name of God when not even God feels this way?
Sometimes I'm tired of this life. I just want to dance with Kanha and get hugs from him
So I was just a little sad couple of days ago and all of a sudden I had this one thought and it changed my mood completely. And now it does everytime whenever I'm down.
I was sad and then I thought that this is the same earth on which shree krishan came with Radha Rani. Idk and idc whether you understand what I'm trying to say but thinking of it like this just makes me feel so privileged. That I'm on same earth where Shree Krishan came, we are here now where Shree Krishan had already been. And since we have got this life as humans it's already a miracle because we are so privileged that we got to know about Shree Krishan "the karta dharta of this universe" it's magical. And the another thing is knowing the fact that shree Hanuman ji is also here around us somewhere. I mean like these thoughts just change my whole mood. I automatically feel blessed thinking about all this.
