*Only if you’re comfortable showing the characters travelling to your home country — otherwise, it’s up to your imagination.

**Crafting, knitting, scrapbooking, music, games, collage, mosaic, calligraphy — if you’re used to digital drawing, painting or writing, how about trying something new?

As always, interpret the prompts however you'd like and follow them as closely or loosely as you want! If you need a refresher on the rules they can be found here, or you can always send us an ask or message in the Natsume Week discord server.

Wanted to see what it was all about so I read all of Dungeon Meshi today and it’s such a wonderful little story. I think it’s messaging is really beautiful - agony over the inevitable will perpetuate itself eternally if you let it, and the most fulfilling thing you can do in life is take care of yourself and others. So much to think about!

My dream as a writer isn’t to get published and make a lot of money, it’s to have a fanbase devoted enough that I can post a story about a background character that had four lines or drop a piece of obscure lore and they go crazy over it

(Ginko, the brooding but compassionate protagonist from the manga/anime Mushishi, is probably one of my favorite fictional characters. If you have a chance to read or watch it, do eeet. )

The designs fast drew my mind into marching bands so I went for this idea first ahah! At some point I watched a ton of marching band videos, they cheered me up with the exciting and very complex perfomances and the players enthusiam was so catchy!! Also watching the 1st person POVs of i.e. the trumpet and drum players are super fun ahaha! Combined with the striking costumes all this directly reminded me of submas, and now it’s a thing!!!
