Im not good at explaining things, but one of the things that I like to do when using watercolours is just playing around and mixing colours. Mixing greens with yellows and blues to indicate lights and shadows, or mixing brown with blue to make a muted blue/gray and stuff. I like messing around and seeing what happens, its a very experimental medium (which is what makes it so fun)!

I hope that makes sense and helps you, even just a little! Also I feel it important to acknowledge that Im not naturally talented with watercolours, I took an art class for 4 years straight in school and there was always a watercolours unit.

I went to a school event!

They had an art booth, but it only had coloured sharpees and pencils. I still had fun!

School starts next week. I kinda want to get into writing songs but its been hard to find programs or resources for that. Im starting with "analysing" other songs to figure out chord progressions and then I'll work things out from there.

Talking to friends and reading reactions online and their like "yeah this episode was fine i guess"

The Pen/Pencil Parallels????

Like how the two of them have abandonment issues what with all of their friends leaving them somehow (Pen's being voted out, Pencil's being voted out or not wanting to rekindle their frienships)

Like how Pen has friends that are there for him and will let him be vulnerable to express his anger and let it out, while Pencil doesn't think she does and is grasping at straws to maintain some semblance of normal (ie being a leader, but shes so many issues that simply reverting back to "leader-mode" isnt mixing well with her "i cant do back there" minset, leading to her to sacrafice her teammates )

Pillow actually saying something nice to someone through her research??? That like never happens?????
