I made this after class in Animation two weeks ago and fixed it up on monday and I keep forgetting to post it

I wanted to make it a gif but ToonBoom doesn't export gifs by default and Photoshop CC doesn't let you alter the framerate like Elements 5 (which is super restricted in size and duration) does

I didn't touch Kantai until I got that drawing done and I got a battlesnail

I said I'd draw Graph's character Mattie, but I didn't know what to draw, so when I was looking over her reference sheet, I saw her cow pastie design labeled "Mattie's last line of defense" and immediately thought of it as a Small Shield.

I tried to emulate the graphics in Vindictus and stylize Meushi Mattie's normal outfit to look like something from the game, even managing to stay to only three colors per piece which is why the hammer is only black, white and gold.

I named the Shield the 'Line of Defense' and the hammer 'Cowpat'

What a thing to come back to after having not played for months and even then only little

 I’m in a really bad spot right now and thought perhaps finally opening commissions might help. If I don’t make about $300 by Sunday I’m going to be homeless. I’m hoping there will be enough interest to make that goal.
