I should probably start using this for something, so why not to update drawan and game dev stuff?

I grabbed a couple of Touhou fangames yesterday after cerastes was posting about Labyrinth of Touhou 2 and I found this one, Youyou Kengeki Musou, and holy shit is it fun. I just did a run through on Easy to see how it played and the first level is almost no platforming and as you go you get more and more platforming elements and the bosses keep a lot of their danmaku from the main games. Seeing Icicle Fall along the ground in 3D is really funny. Even on easy there were a few bosses I had to retry a few times. I'm gonna slap on the English Patch and play it again on a higher difficulty.

I honestly hate how art and media have kind of romanticized the idea of like “going off your meds and being your true self again” because like I started taking antidepressants and like immediately got a new job, found a place to live, improved my relationships with people in my life and completely reconciled with my sort of estranged ex-girlfriend?? Medication can be rad and while I realize that it’s not for everybody I don’t think anything should be trying to convince anyone that being on medication inherently makes you less of who you are

Kinda shows me that my monitor isn't that great because the grays on the clouds seem a lot fainter than when I was making it. Or the lens flare screwed with them

I spent four days in Space Engineers making a cruiser. The innards are all screwy because of SE’s conveyor system and the turrets themselves, along with each wall being 2.5m³ along with triple and quad layered outer armor. There are many redundant systems to prevent critical disablement from damage. I was also going to build a torpedo bay, but the rocket launchers were pitifully weak and the nuke launcher was insanely slow, more likely to detonate in the bay if moving or get intercepted than actually hit the target. I’ll draw up a better Tenryuu later.
