Fall Out Boy's intro
Paramore had some neat stuff going with their wall of lights behind them, a lot of the bright colors only showed up as white, like the red and blue speckling thing in this video
I honestly hate how art and media have kind of romanticized the idea of like “going off your meds and being your true self again” because like I started taking antidepressants and like immediately got a new job, found a place to live, improved my relationships with people in my life and completely reconciled with my sort of estranged ex-girlfriend?? Medication can be rad and while I realize that it’s not for everybody I don’t think anything should be trying to convince anyone that being on medication inherently makes you less of who you are
I tried to make a CVL because Ryuujou is away in an expedition. Then I realized making a CVL isn’t helpful because they’re Lv1. At least now I have Zuihou for the event quests
i feel like the most important piece of wisdom i can impart on teenagers is that no one–no one–knows what the fuck they’re doing
my brother is 26 years old, makes $200k a year, and just bought a house with his fiance. he’s the success story you hear about but never actually meet in person, but it all happened by accident. he wanted to go to college for clarinet performance, but he got rejected from all the top schools. so he decided to major in physics instead, and then went on to get a doctorate to put off being an adult for a few more years. but then he ended up dropping out halfway through the program and accepting a job with google as a software engineer. so to reiterate: my brother majored in something he was not interested in, and then he got a job that had nothing to do with his degree.
he isn’t successful because he had some master plan he followed, he just stumbled around blindly until something worked out. and that’s what we’re all doing–i majored in political science and now i do customer service for a company that makes industrial-sized gas detection monitors. the marketing director at my company has a degree in biology, and my mom has an MBA and works at a middle school. no one knows what they’re doing, we’re all just trying different things until something works out.
so if you don’t have a plan, that’s fine. most of us don’t. and even those of us who do, don’t usually end up doing the thing they thought they would. it’s okay to relax and let life carry you wherever it’s gonna carry you. because even though a lot of us don’t end up doing the thing we wanted, most of us end up happy anyway.
Game's Official Forums: People who's IQ is lower than the room tempurature. Forum is just a "complaint box" to them. Call outs to the game's devs. Unironic "XD".
Reddit: People trying way too hard to make jokes with game's material, usually resorting to old and shitty memes. Upvote whoring. Full of "ideas people" making suggestions on how to make the game "better". Echo-chamber.
4Chan: Will go to any length to prove said game is shit, even in the game's own general thread. Extreme pessimism. Accuses anyone who has a shit opinion of being from reddit.
Steam Forums: Smug Circlejerks. Repetition of the same jokes and memes almost every thread. People who play the trade market. Elitists.
Tumblr: Only likes the game for the characters and fanart. Ships. People who probably don't even own the game. Complaints about the most inconsequential shit like what someone's skin color is.
And that's on Easy Modo
I’M CRYING WITH THIS FANMADE GAME.
NotMokou from the stream. The internet died for a while and I left the stream off for the most part. This pose was a pain to get drawn down right. I think I got it about right this time.
She still needs a name.
So I finally got Kantai going again and started the event. I can't play Medium or Hard. Rip 601st Reppuu and 51cm gun. First run had Kiso and Tenryuu get one shotted by the flagship of the second north node. Second run beat the boss without taking damage, and I got the last of the Kongou I needed. And now I have the 4th fleet!
I started thinking of how I could reimplement mechs into my setting. Currently I'm thinking they would break down into two types, 'Walkers' and 'Mobile Suits'. Walkers would be semi-squishy nukers, more like the 2142 mechs, 2-3 stories high and generally pretty manuverable, but can be killed by tanks rather easily, destroyable with infantry. The 'Mobile Suits' would be much larger and durable, designed more for prolonged engagements and soaking up damage, able to easily kill vehicles but have a harder time targeting infantry and have little to no air defenses making aircraft their hardest counter. Neither would be super common as the common dropships can't carry even a walker meaning it will need a larger or dedicated transport and would then likely only be fielded by the Army.
The alternative I thought before that is that the suits are rather rare, perhaps only one of each variant, very expensive and hard to produce but very powerful and hard to kill, making almost like a Hero unit for vehicle types. Best ways to deal with them would be to field your own or write off the battlefield and nuke it or bombard it from orbit until the target is gone.
