pov: me reading the same book multiple times over the past few months and still acting shocked when shit goes down
having short-term memory is like. this book profoundly affected me. that show bared my soul. i don’t remember a single thing about it. but it did
when my academic validation comes back im going to be a big problem
“the secret history is so dark academia.” richard papen literally did cocaine in a burger king parking lot

No one talks about how hard it is to have an academic comeback when you are an average student or even a below average student.
when you have always had perfect grades or a perfect GPA you really don't have to work hard to achieve your goals. but when you are a shitty student and you messed up your GPA freshman year of high school its fucking hard.
yes, I understand that some people say to "romanticize school" but that only goes so far. I want to see someone romanticize my 2.5 unweighted GPA okay.
There i was again tonight forcing laughter, faking smiles
reading does take a lot of effort and it is difficult. that’s why you should do it!
You know what else no one talks about GIFTED KIDS
i was a gifted kid until i got into the 9th grade and then i realized how shit it was. when i was in middle school gifted was literally a bunch of neurodivergent kids doing a bunch of special interest projects. we were all super competitive and super "smart "in the eyes of the school board.
gifted kids hit puberty and got burnt out actually we hit 8th grade and got burned out.
Divided the fic into 4 books with these covers:
and turned each book into an epub, for Kindle, Books, Google Books, GoodReads or other digital reading platforms that aren't just ao3.
I am making no money off this and all credit goes to the original cover artist, Micah Ulrich (find them on Twitter/X). I only did the rework into a more sleek epub format. Credit for the story goes, of course, to zeppazariel/bizarrestars on Archive of Our Own.
Also, have this sick-ass Regulus edit I found on TikTok for the fic! This post encourages you to read Crimson Rivers while listening to Hozier's Unreal Unearth!
