Bro when I found out that Hank Miller Audios was an old man I literally dipped so fast 😭

I’m sorry but every time I try to listen to his audio I just see that selfie he posted a while back and now every character he does, all I see them as is someone in there 50s and I just can’t 😭😭

The misuse of the M4A tag is a huge issue within the ASMR community, but the one that mainly comes to my mind, is scythe audio. Now before I continue, two things: one, this is my opinion; two, this is out of the people that I watch; I'm sure there are hundreds, if not thousands, of people who do it a thousand times worse than he does. I don't want any kind of hate pushed towards him; he's an amazing VA, and despite this, I do enjoy his content. I just wish he didn't misuse the M4A tag. With that done, I will continue. From what I've watched of his content, the worst example of this is in his series: Beyond the Stars. because even though all of the different points of view have been tagged as m4a. (except for one, which is tagged M4f). Despite being tagged as m4a, they clearly aren't. If you look at the designs of the characters that are supposed to represent the listener, they are clearly extremely feminine and meant to look as such, and the writing that is used to describe the listeners as well within the content itself also shows that it's not exactly meant for listeners that aren't female. If it was just stated as such, just straight-up tagged as M4F, I wouldn't care; if he's not comfortable voicing and/or writing for non-female listeners, that's fine. it's his channel; he can post what he wishes. not my gripe at all. I just wish, as I said before, he didn't misuse the m4a tag. because if you look at other VAs with truly M4A content, and you look at his "M4A" content, there is an obvious difference. the only series of his that I have seen that doesn't have this issue. is where the listener is a literal cat—it's kind of hard to gender that. Like I said, I don't want any hate towards him; I do genuinely enjoy his content. I just wish he didn't misuse it, as I said. (sorry if I'm repeating myself, and sorry this is long.)

A large amount of people leaving the country for safety? a discriminatory leader? protection of business in support of the discriminatory leader and punishment of ones that don't? Because what I'm seeing now is queer people running for their lives, a discriminatory leader, protection of large companies like United healthcare, people discriminating against trans individuals and immigrants, and ICE imprisoning legal immigrants.

Gonna be honest, for the longest time I didn't know the asmr rp stuff had a fandom or ppl who genuinely liked it for more than spicy stuff, so as a ace person who's very neutral abt sex I'd usually only focus on the voice and then imediatly leave the video once the spicy stuff happened.

I genuinely thought I was the only one here for the VA work and commission art and not for the spicy things.

And then GBA, Yuurivoice and SytheAudios happened lol

I've never felt happier to find channels that focus more on story and less on the spicy, specially cause their spice is entirely optional too!

It was through these 3 guys i found out abt this community and I've never felt more validated in my life, finally I'm not the only one who's here for the lore!

So yeah, thank you to these silly folks for making this little ace gobling very very happy, I owe yall at least one slice of cake for this.

Im sorry to say this but…I was always doing hourly (if not) daily check ups on Desmond asmrs channel and I don’t mean only his yt.Im talking I checked his yt,his twitter,his Patreon and I even checked tumbler to see if anyone posted any fan fics.But I stopped checking on anything cus I just know I’m gonna get disappointed.I know he has been posting some updates lately but it still takes him so long to upload part 2‘s of his series.For example his big daddy catty series.He stopped the chapter at the most mysterious part and is making us wait for part 2 now and I’m not having it.

This isn’t supposed to be a hate comment on him if he sees this,it’s just me saying what we are all thinking.We love him but he’s starving us for too long and I know I’m not the only one thinking this because his views have gone from 1M a video to 100k

I want audio roleplays to be main stream SO BAD, like I wanna look up on YouTube “Audio roleplays analysis” and have like a million videos come up, I want their to be so many fan theories if fills my feed, I want everybody talking about the latest installment of whatever they have been listening to, I want to be able to mention something about a series to a friend and then have even the faintest clue of what I’m talking about😭there needs to be like a turn around on how the community is viewed so bad
