(crawls on all fours with blood drenched on me) I have to do arts and crafts
some quick facts:
they're nocturnal and tend to roam around while awake.
they have keen senses of smell and hearing, but terrible eyesight. despite this, they also have a tapetum lucidum, making their pupils "glow" in the dark.
their fur is short, dense, and oily to waterproof them.
they prefer a diet of mostly meat and are attracted to strong-smelling food like fish, cheese, and anything fermented.
the elongated dewclaw on each front paw is sharp, flexible, and nonretractable. it injects a venom that causes respiratory failure and cardiac arrest in prey and, in extreme doses, humans. veterenarians typically remove the dewclaw venom glands during the neuter/spay procedure.
they grow to an average of 1m and 23kg (3ft and 50lb) but can reach up to double that length and triple the weight!

Anybody else feel like they have zero ambitions in life, you just wanna feel loved
Kissing you didn't feel like fireworks or explosions or like the sun was burning in my soul. But it did feel calm, and safe, and right. The world was spinning around me and it suddenly fell into place. And I think that's so much better.
there’s such an unhealthy stigma, especially in academic communities, surrounding taking time off or dropping out. putting education above your health and well-being isn’t okay and should not be the standard. obviously there are positives to school/college/uni, but the environment created by the education system can be so horrifically damaging in so many ways, and demonising stepping away from or leaving it only makes it worse. as much as education is important, your health and well-being are infinitely more so.
it is okay to take breaks. it’s okay to take a year off. it’s okay to leave if that’s what you need to do. dropping out does not make you stupid, nor does it make you a failure. take care of yourself first and foremost. traditional education is not the only way to learn.
to all the people who used to top their classes but can't find the energy to do that assignment now, to all the people who watch dance covers in awe and imagine themselves doing the choreography wearing crop tops and cargo pants, to all the people who love watching aesthetic videos and vlogs and yearn for their home to be cottagecore with soft radio in the background someday, to all the people who stare at pretty strangers, wishing they had their eyes, or their hair or their pretty smile, i just wanna say that i see you and you are a beautiful soul. you are worthy and capable of living the life of your dreams. ♡♡♡
im going to come out and say it: isolating is a self-destructive behavior. it might not be as obvious and immediately self-destructive as say, impulsive spending, drug use or risky behaviors, but it gradually decays relationships and can deepen your mental health issues. often, our impulse is to retreat from others and responsibilities for “self care” or to “work on ourselves” and obviously sometimes we need mental health breaks, but there’s a line you cross from “taking a break” to full on neglecting your relationships with others and your social needs that can be incredibly damaging to yourself and others over time
When you’re depressed, you grasp on to anything that can get you through the day. That’s what depression is, not sadness or tears. It’s the overwhelming sense of numbness and the desire for anything that can help you make it from one day to the next.
