Journal Prompt for Shadow Work #5

Hey friends! Are you ready for another journal prompt to expand your knowledge about your Shadow self? This week we are kicking it up a notch and asking some deeper questions. 1. In what ways are you inauthentic with yourself? Why is that? Are you pretending to be someone you aren’t? Are you a watered down version of your true self? What is getting in the way of you being your most authentic self? 2. How often do you lie to yourself? It can be about anything. Are you really okay or are you just masking? 3. Are you holding onto friendships that are unhealthy? Are you holding onto relationships that are toxic? Are you noticing a pattern within these behaviors between them or yourself? 4. We all have broken promises to ourselves, this question is asking you what was the biggest promise that you have broken with yourself that causes you to constantly think about? Do you regret this decision? Why or why not? There are no guidelines to these prompts, answer with honesty to understand where you may need to make improvements and to meet your Shadow Self. ღ libra placements don’t get the in-depth rep that they deserve, most libra placements struggle with self image because growing up they were put of the expectation to please and be somewhat perfect from what I’ve noticed, and a lot of things were put on their plate to “balance”, and they seem so put together which makes people not worry about them much. They’re truly caring but to what fault?

ღ Virgo placements notice, they have noticed from the start who you truly are. Grow herbs on your balcony or in your backyard 

If you live in an apartment, find good indoor plants

You can never go wrong with more succulents 

Water your plants from your water cup to bond with them

Write sigils on the pots of your plants to help them grow 

Bury a coin in the forest to welcome money into your life

Carry a book around to press flowers in

Illustrate or take photos of interesting plants you see 

If you cannot have real plants, get fake plants from a craft store and decorate your room

Wear clothing or accessories with plants and flowers on them 

Tuck flowers into your hair 

Bring leaves and flowers home as offerings for your deity

Help caterpillars cross the sidewalk 

Liminal Spaces:

Places where the veil is thin due to reality feeling distorted. These are usually spaces of transitional energy and are excellent for meditation, divination, astral work, etc.
