I wanted to share a community lot I finished this week: a TV studio specially designed for Strangetown! It features switcher rooms, a music recording studio (using AroundtheSims2′s set) and even film cameras (from @crispsandkerosene) that your sims can use. Here’s the video of the construction process! “To break out in animation, we talked about his role being kind of this Elvis guy that can work a crowd, so I gave him this hand-held mike just because the first recordings you felt he was pinned behind this podium. And then later on he'd still be roaming around the whole sound booth with the mike; it does affect your voice when you are so physical.”(X)

Like Elvis, Metro Man has a black pompadour, blue eyes, and wears white suits with rhinestones and golden accents. He is also charming and blessed with a strong stage presence. Later on, it is revealed that he has a strong affinity for music—dreaming of being a great musician—much like the real life singer that inspired his design.

you know you've done fucked up when a fan remake of a game that hasnt had an update in 7 years looks 10000x more aesthetically pleasing than a minute long trailer made by a multi million dollar film studio featuring an extremely popular actor.
