so I saw this general opinion that kitt asked pae to be his wife to punish Kai or something and it's huh???
while reading I didn't think kitt meant it in that way at all.
like we see how against the idea he was previously, but he still did it. he asked Kai in the throne room, and Kai said no. maybe kitt should have been able to see that he was lying, but who knows? I guess that made kitt finally submit to the idea
because at the end of the day.
1. they are brothers and they care about each other. if Kai doesn't see pae that way anymore, then he thinks the wedding isn't all that bad. plus, he may have thought that, the fact that Kai didn't let her go and actually bring her to him meant he was fine with whatever punishment he could have had for her
2. realistically speaking, it could have been his compassion. maybe he didn't want pae to die. he asked Kai to bring her to him when he was grief stricken, but he also changed his request to her being alive. maybe that speaks volumes about the fact that, maybe, just maybe, the control his father had over him was loosening. like obviously his father would have wanted kitt to execute pae, but he didn't do that
in conclusion, kitt isn't all that bad

i wish to see my beloved (ao3) whole once more, and i wish to hear their comforting voice (site) as they recited stories (fics) before sleeping
I’m so torn about this direct bc if the rumors are true and we get something investigations related I might actually weep but on the other hand if I have to start calling Sebastian Debeste smth like “Adam Azing” I’m gonna end up on the news
i firmly believe that kristoph was a better boss to apollo than phoenix. every time phoenix doesnt tell him something or messes with him or doesnt give him his paycheck he has to stop himself from mumbling under his breath like 'mr gavin didnt do this shit mr gavin took me for lunch at the sushi place by the office and didnt even make me pay'. apollo genuinely considering trying to get a retrial to get kristoph out of jail in turnabout corner making a pros and cons list in his head while delivering that 'white powder' like this shit is not worth it
oh shit legit what I was thinking while reading the first book xDD
if i had a nickel everytime i read a romantasy book about a poor girl from the streets who got picked to participate in a trial between rich kids with superpowers, while having to live at the palace where the two brothers fell in love with her before she betrayed them and ran away, i'd have two nickels.
had an icebreaker activity in my psych class today which was "talk about something you're passionate about for 60 seconds" and i kid you not, i started rambling about phoenix wright's backstory for well over 3 minutes and didn't realize i went over the time limit because everyone was really interested especially the bit about dahlia's part in phoenix's life and kristoph gavin
The girl is known for there being a chance of being unstable and then the leader and his people all expect her to be fucking sane?!? Just adjust to everything within days…
Like are they the insane ones for thinking Juliette’s the weird one for struggling with everything?

imagine a fyolai art: fyodor behind nikolai (to make it easier let's imagine kolya sitting and fedya standing behind him). Fyodor is holding Nikolai's eyepatch thing (? I forgot what its called) which is broken in half, while Nikolai holds Fyodor's arms
what tf does this mean, you may ask. well!
(ch 121 spoilers) we saw fyodor tear the page, but there is a popular theory that it wasn't actually the book page, so we can say that the act was a farce. when we see fyodor doing the same here, its showing how nikolai's attempt at freedom (by killing fyodor back in Meursalt) was nothing but a farce (planned out by fyodor).
now, why would Nikolai be holding Fyodor's arms, you may ask. well, I imagine kolya holding them in the way a prisoner holds the bars to their cage. this is pretty self explanatory with reference to the fyolai dynamic
so I imagine fyodor serving face and Nikolai looking... Well. Uneasy. His eyepatch, which he used as an on switch for his fake persona, is broken; so showing himself in his entirety would be odd to him naturally.
someone draw this I'm actually going crazy rn. I was gonna but I gotta sleep and ain't no way I'll have motivation in the morning (also soz for the irregular punctuation I'm like half asleep i think)
i love how this references both the paper in the cruel prince, and also that letter cardan wrote while jude was exiled
My favorite animal is Cardan when he's writing "Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude ......."
This is Kristoph’s drag name btw
