it is late when satoru returns home from work, letting the door close softly behind him before he travels deeper into your apartment—searching for you. so maybe that’s why he isn’t suspicious when he finds your figure lying on the couch, seemingly already asleep from where you were sat waiting up for him to come back to you now doubt. but you hear the snowy haired sorcerer breathe out a laugh that sounds a little more fond and soft before he’s crouching next to your figure, letting his palm curl around your neck as he leans in to press a kiss along your cheek—before letting his lips linger over the skin a few moments longer. “just as pretty as always, sweet girl. waiting up for me? aren’t you cute.” you’d roll your eyes if you could at the teasing tone of his voice, but you still melt when you feel the couch dip next to you—satoru’s hands gently guiding you against his chest. “there we go. that’s better, yeah? don’t want you yelling at me when your necks sore, angel.”

・✶ ｡ﾟGETO SUGURU

he’d ran some errands while you relaxed on the couch, you had been trying to nap previously but decided just to wait up for him to come home — your eyes closed contently. “you asleep?” suguru hums from his place in the door way, a few of your favourite snacks hanging in a bag from his hand before he sets them down and crosses the room quietly, smiling to himself when he notices you, what he believes to be asleep on the couch anyway. the silence seems to settle for a few moments after, until you feel the rough pad of his thumb graze along your cheek in a gentle touch that has your eyes fluttering, but you hear suguru breathe out a sigh—one that sounds more like he’s home rather than tired. “you awake, sweetheart?” he hums, the low tone of his voice making you break character to lean into his touch before he presses a kiss to your temple. “room for one more, yeah? but i don’t think the couch is gonna fit both of us.”

・✶ ｡ﾟITADORI YUUJI

thankfully you weren’t actually asleep when yuuji came home, but you still decided to keep up the act even though the first thing he does is call for you — in a familiar tone that’s bright and cheery and you know he’s smiling before he halts in the doorway when he sees you, shushing himself with his palm over his mouth. you hear his footsteps approach you a few moments later, listening to yuuji mumble to himself about how it looks like you’re asleep before he’s pausing infront of you, probably wondering whether or not he’s going to wake you. but the silence remains before you feel the cushions beside you dip, feeling the familiar warmth of your boyfriends broad chest press against you as he clumsily tries to guide you against his chest, making a few hushed sounds in the hopes that it might soothe you if he happened to shake you awake, followed by a “yay! bet you’re comfy now, baby.” when he’s finally wrapped in you—nuzzling into the crook of your neck.

・✶ ｡ﾟFUSHIGURO MEGUMI

megumi was always quiet whenever he came home, hushed footsteps and gentle movements but you can still hear him travel through the apartment — hesitant when he opens the door to the darkened bedroom where you were once asleep, now you just lay with your eyes closed, not ready to move yet. he doesn’t say anything, already assuming you’re still lost in a blissful dream but he does approach you with a grumble before you feel him carefully tuck the comforter over your figure, tch-ing and grumbling about how you’re gonna end up catching a cold. but you don’t notice the way megumi looks at you before he leans down to place a fleeting kiss against your cheek, a blush high on his own and he’s mostly unaware of the soft smile that’s decorating his features — a much softer expression that the one others were used to, but it’s one that was familiar because it was reserved only for you.

・✶ ｡ﾟNANAMI KENTO

he’d unfortunately got roped into some overtime, but he still always managed to finish up quickly knowing he was going to be coming home to you. but you hear nanami sigh when he first enters the apartment, taking off his shoes and no doubt loosening his tie before he’s searching for you — something to ground him after a long, tiring day. he assumes immediately you’re asleep when you don’t perk up at the sight of him in the doorway, but the tension in his shoulders still melt when he sees your figure so peaceful on the couch. “sweetheart?” nanami hums, sitting on the other side of the couch before he’s resting your feet in his lap—letting his fingers trace featherlight touches up your calf before he’s propping his head up against his palm and relaxing into the cushions. you both stay like this for a few moments, unmoving before he mumbles something about making you tea for waking up and leaving you with a chaste kiss.

So, I recently smacked my knuckle against a cart at work. It immediately bruised and swelled (I'm fine, that's not the point of this). It got me thinking how any of your Bucky AUs would react to reader coming home with a minor injury like that.

Chubby Alpha Bucky: So he felt your flare of pain through the bond and the only reason he wasn't already busting down the doors at your job to get you was your phone call reassuring your alpha that yes you're okay, yes you're going to finish your shift, yes you're sure Bucky.

So he turned the truck around and waited for you, ice packs, snacks and lotion on the coffee table. Grumbling the entire time, making sure that you knew through the bond that he's not going to be happy until he sees your injury.

Your car is still in drive when he flings open the door, he puts in park, unbuckles your seat belt and hoists you into his arms. You shouldn't laugh but he's so adorable when he's cranky and worried over you.

You show him your swollen knuckle and he vows to kick the carts ass. By the time you're actually in the house, you're crying from laughing so hard.

Bucky plops you on the couch, puts a snack on your belly and orders you to let him take care of you. He ices your hand and then massages it gently, his large fingers rubbing soothing circles over the tender skin.

Beefy alpha Bucky: yeah, you couldn't convince him to stay away. He alpha commanded your boss into giving you the day off and then he took you home and pampered you. He keeps scenting you, coating you in his pheromones until you're dizzy, limp and happy. You don't even feel your finger after a while.

Mafia Bucky: He knew about your injury the second it happened, your bodyguard reports everything to him. Not that you mind because by the time you got home, he paid for personal spa services to make you feel better. So now you're getting couples massages in your living room while being fed strawberries by Andy, the masseuse.

TFAWS Bucky: He can't stand even minor injuries, part of him wishing he could somehow absorb your pain. So he does the next best thing, he hauls you on his lap, puts on your favorite movie and massages your hand while you rest your head on his shoulder.

Chubby Baker Bucky: He’s kissing your knuckles, icing them and then whipping up a sweet dessert to take your mind off the pain. You’re getting the full treatment tonight. Whatever you want, you’re getting and he doesn’t care that its a little injury peach, its not the point. He’s going to take care of you, so shush and let him.

So now you’re being spoiled.

Chubby librarian Bucky: He’s not good with injuries so he distracts you until you’re feeling better, he has movies, comics, he’s making you and he’s even willing to sing(but that might hurt more than your finger) and after he sees you’re okay, he decides an orgasm or two will take away the pain. And who are you to argue with that logic?

Beefy Biker Bucky: Bucky is more than capable of taking care of injuries because of his time in the army, so he knows how to wrap and ice your hand so you feel better. A few motrin and one massage later you feel great. But now he has to check your entire body for injuries. Inch by inch until he's sure you're okay. "And that means all of you gorgeous so go on and take your panties off."
