Why do his aliases sound like something out of My Little Pony?

I mean, it's absolutely adorable and I ain't complaining or anything, but why?

Oh, thanks! I've only watched season 1 from a DVD I found at the library and I've seen bits and pieces of season 2 from various sources, so I'm not too familiar with some characters. I've heard of Muriel, but I'd only ever seen them in that Heaven police outfit they wear, so it's cool to see a different costume for them!
