So they killed Cassandra first 'cause she feared the worst and tried to tell the town//So they set my life in flames, I regret to say…do you believe me now?
when i first saw the scene with maddie drawing the sigil on owen’s neck, i was like “why does this seem like it was shot in a romantic way? maddie made it very clear she liked girls.” and then i realized. she does like girls.
Who said I'll be alone on Valentine's day? I get to see my cannibalistic soccer team after two years again
YELLOWJACKETS S3E1 // S3E10
the way that in the pink opaque, tara and isabel only met in the first episode and then only communicated through their psychic link throughout the rest of the series and didn't see each other in person and how owen watched their first episode of the pink opaque with maddy but then after that was only able to watch it through the tapes maddy left them in the dark room, not even giving them to owen in person
I saw the tv glow is crazy bc it’s a movie that genuinely makes you watch how your life could fall apart. Makes you watch how heavily repression can affect your life and how dangerous and sad it can be. But at the same time it’s like “hey, if you’re still alive there is still time, so keep going.”
I’ve genuinely never watched a movie that has given me so much sadness, but let’s me find a sense of hope, no matter how bittersweet, within that devastation.
“are you gay?” — boring, overused, very awkward
“how do you feel about haymitch abernathy?” — new, revolutionary, popular with the teens
There was this horrible moment I had while reading SotR today where I realized Haymitch looked at Katniss and saw the dead little girl with dark braided hair he had to carry to Snow’s doorstep, his best friend he had to push away for his own good, and the Covey girl he couldn’t save all rolled into one more tribute he had to lead to her death wearing the meanest girl in town’s pin. I need to be sedated
oh wyatt callow, the boy who weighed everyones odds in the arena and still threw himself in front of a blade for lou lou, knowing hers too.
one of the best decisions yellowjackets has ever made is reverting the women back into girls at their most vulnerable moments. shauna when she kills adam, nat laying her head in lottie's lap, misty seeing young natalie in the mirror, misty in the morgue seeing lottie because this truly hammers home that their lives stopped the moment that plane went down and that no matter how much time has passed by, they're still those teenage girls who were on their way to their football game and lost 19 months of their lives trying to survive.
