So there's a billdip story I've been looking for and I really don't want to go all through ao3 to find it, the gist: the stans navy men tried to hang pirate captain bill cipher but being half demon he had the ability to escape before he did he swore to wipe out the pines family in revenge. Fast forward 30 years later young dipper is forced to go to lady pacificas party in place of his navy captain sister Mabel, bill shows up thinking dipper is Mabel kidnapped him, long story short they fall in love and Mabel falls for first mate tad strange.
