Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions on throwing a Yule party. I don’t think any of my friends are pagan/witchy, but they know I am; I’ve had small solstice parties in the past and everyone had a good time. When I’m looking for inspo I only see really outdated or gimmicky ideas. I know that Christmas is very derivative of Yule so there is a lot of crossover, but if anyone knows subtle winter solstice ideas I’d appreciate it!
Some ideas:
I ordered bulk whole sale crystals and incense to put together little bags for everyone
Decorating in white, green, red and gold
Cooking and baking a few dishes
Garlands and candles
But did you just spend all night watching tutorials and looking up discord directions to create a Percy Jackson themed server only to realize there’s definitely ones already out there and running?
Didn’t think so 😤😤
Me: *is doing a tarot reading*
Deck: *drops out the 5 of pentacles*
Me: oops didn’t mean to drop that, lets slide that back in there
Deck: *sticks up the 5 of wands and three of swords*
Me: I’m not done SHUFFLING
Deck: *drops ten of swords, the tower and nine of swords*
Me: OKAY I GET IT
Deck: *throws out the fool*
Bad photo but I collected what was left of an offering to Aphrodite and put them into these little jar earrings 🌸
Once a month I hear cardigan and act like it’s the first time I’ve experienced music
