✨Bubble tea recipe! ✨

(Mostly so i have it written somewhere and i can reference it if people ask me about it ‘cause i suck at remembering doses and such...)

Stuff you need:

Tapioca balls (can find on amazon)

Prefered tea (i use English breakfast)

Milk (optional if you prefer to go without)

A bowl

Somewhere to boil the bubbles

Somewhere to boil the tea water (can be the same as above or just use a microwave)

Large straws (i use a metallic washable one but you can use any large straw, also can find on amazon)

A mug or similar to drink the bubble tea in

Now on to the actual recipe:

1. Take out about 2 small handfuls of tapioca balls per mug you wanna make (can be more or less depending on how much bubbles you want/prefer)

2. Take to boil a small pot with water and 2 teaspoons of sugar in it. When it’s boiling drop the bubbles in it and let them cook for about 2-3 minutes

3. While they boil, take about 3 spoonfuls of their water and put them in a small bowl. Mix it with about 1 and a half/ 2 teaspoong of honey until they form a sort of liquid sweetener

4. Strain the bubbles (be careful, they’re veeery squishy and will totally slip through larger holes) and drop them in the bowl with the honey. Mix them a bit and then let them sit in there for a while, both to cool off and get their shiny black appearance and to suck up all the sugary goodness

5. While they sit in there, make some tea! You can use the same pot to boil some water, i’m lazy so i just stick a mug full of water in the microwave and then pour it in the glass jar i use for bubble tea. People usually suggest black tea for bubble tea but tbh? Experiment all you want, that’s half the fun

6. When the tea is ready pick up the tapioca balls with a spoon and drop them in the mug you choose. You can also just pour the whole thing in the tea if you like your bubble tea hella hella sweet

7. (Optional, add the milk) Mix the whole thing and congrats! You just made bubble tea at home!

yeah i’m gonna go ahead and say season 2 of euphoria is awful

Warning, I am not very good at writing my thoughts so this is a little all over the place.

There’s something so sweet and childlike about the reveal of Lily and James’ death. You have this 11 year old boy who’s gone his whole life being abused and unwanted. He has no memories of his parents and the only thing he really knows is they died in a car accident. Petunia and Vernon barely talked about them but when they did it was always with distraste. Even with all that, Harry still has love for his parents and at some point in his life likely fantasized about being able to grow up with them instead. He then finds out that they died not only to save him, but they were apart of this great magical world that would let him escape from this abuse. Believing that your parents will always be there to come and rescue you is something so innocent. Harry getting to experience that is so beautiful.

The last two episodes of Euphoria have fucked me up so bad i completely take back any shit I was talking about this season

We have to accept with great sadness that up to 500,000,000 animals have been decimated in Australia’s widespread bushfires.⁣ We have to accept that there are humans among us in power who are hell-bent on destroying rainforest (Brazil) and other habitat across the world because of their obsession with finding that big pot of money at the end of the rainbow.

Ecologists from the University of Sydney now estimate 480 million mammals, birds and reptiles have been lost since September 2019 with the figure likely to increase substantially.⁣

The fires are moving fast in the states of Victoria and New South Wales in the last few days, killing humans, non-humans, burning down homes and habitats. ⁣

kangaroos, koalas and other animals and birds have been fleeing to escape this huge inferno,. Birds and bat's have been found having fallen from trees and found dead on the ground. ⁣

I'm not sure that humanity has the will or the ability to take action to mitigate against the impact of changing climatic conditions around Mother Earth or on the ground. The sixth mass extinction has started.

We often hear that the next ten years will be crucial in terms of the fate of our planet and all life here. Nature is seeking balance and nature will decide the destination and endgame of our existence.

Humanity, directly or indirectly is at war with nature and simultaneously at war with itself. What we do to nature we do to ourselves and our existence. We are seriously pulling apart the web of life and all that we and our non human relatives depend on for survival.

Our species is a highly irresponsible life form that is not facing up to its obligation to love and take care of nature and the home to all life. This is a priority but our politicians, world leaders and those who govern the fossil fuel industry, intensive agriculture and water resources are failing to lead on this. Financial profit over the health of the planet is the name of their game and it is fair to say that they do not care about you or I or life on Earth in general.

Our wish to live in a better more healthy world may now be unachievable. Can we really reverse the monumental damage we have done to the planet, its oceans, its land, soil and water, its atmosphere.

How much longer are we and our politicians going to sit on our backsides watching our planet being destroyed, our wildlife relatives and the natural world being decimated in front of our eyes?

World governments and people across nations need to take action to reverse climate change and global warming, to protect animals, birds, insects, marine life, plants an trees. To do this will be to strengthen support for humanity and all life. ⁣
