you can make some pretty fun toon shaders in blender these days

i've been looking at leaf beetles a lot recently so when I saw my friends' new lawnmower i couldn't help seeing this weird beetle and had to do some kind of sketch. it eats grass, of course. (excuse the extra sloppy antennae. fineliner, modified in krita.)
