Valve artist Drew Wolf has released aย new website, which contains a variety of concept artwork from Valve games such as Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2. One of these sets of concept art found on his website were numerous designs for female TF2 classes.
An internal pitch project aimed to bring female characters to the cast of Team Fortress 2.
I was responsible for story, character development and visual design. With the exception of their class function, It was important that each design presented an entirely new character. I wanted to these characters to live on their own and add dimension to the current roster of in-game characters. The goal of the project was to dive deep into possibilities and facilitate creative discussion.

I think game devs should go on strike too. idk if the writers for games are included in the current writers strike (i hope so) but devs who build and program and 3d model and shit. They should strike too.
Imagine the power when within a week of the strike something goes wrong in like, WoW or LoL or Fortnite or CoD and suddenly there's nobody to fix it. Every live service and mmo game would just, shut down. Even if it was build to keep going on its own imagine fortnite not being able to get its latest crossover after they already announced it.
And that's just live games. Imagine games that take 3 or 4 years to make and people are waiting on and suddenly Nothing advances. Every sequal, remake, reboot, and remaster. Years of work put on pause, possibly risking being thrown out, millions of dollars.
Game dev is known for harsh working, for Crunch Culture, and low pay. Shut it all down and watch them flounder until they agree to change that. I know it probably won't happen but, even as someone who breathes video games, i want it to.
