It came to my attention that I never expressed that Kat (@sleepdeprivedbagels) and I ARE MINORS! Portals takes place like a few weeks after season 2 of rise so the turtles, Kat, and I are minors. (Except April ig? Cus it says she’s 18 💀 idk man.)

Deepest apologies for forgetting to say that earlier and not having it in my Bio! I’ve updated my bio now. Also big thanks to Kat for telling me!! 💛💛

Hat Kid is sleeping in their bed, dressed in pajamas and with their hat flopped on their head. The background shows her bedroom, the pillow pile and a window out to space.
A zoom-in on Hat Kid's face, still squished against her pillow, eye wide and panicked, the onmatopoeia "RRRRRRING" covering the brim of their hat.
Hat Kid runs at her bedroom's door, hat in one hand. They yell out "It's heeeere!" excitedly, as her spaceship's announcements blares out "Goooooooooooood morning! And welcome to another day of space adventure!"
Hat Kid runs out into her spaceship's lobby, pulling her coat over the rest of her clothes, hat on her head. The spaceship's announcer says "You are now -SEVENTEEN- quadrants from your destination!"
Hat Kid finishes pulling on her coat, looking over to her left with a happy expression, saying "There it is!" Then, an open present, the ribbons torn, as Hat Kid runs off in the background. Then, a close up on a stick, held in two hands by Hat Kid as they say "Aaaaaaaand..." in anticipation.
Hat kid strikes a triumphant pose, one arm on her newly-installed mailbox, the other showing a peace sign as they grin, winking, saying "Presto!" Rumbi does a flip next to her. The text "ASKS OPEN!" hangs non-diagetically above her head.
