Now distracted by tugging a comical length of handkerchiefs out of my sleeve, I'll start telling the story of why, exactly, I was borrowing a pigeon from a vet in the first place. The story, which is lengthy, still doesn't go on as long as the string of handkerchiefs.
It's always hot in September where I live, so fall still feels a long way off. But regardless, the changing of the seasons means it's time to get cozy 🥰

OF COURSE the chosen substance literally covers all of his trauma. can't be seen, can't be chased. he can spy and brew potions like he used to do in lmanburg days. can't cause problems if he can't be seen. he feels strong. in control. like he can't be touched, even. do yall see how fucking genius this choice was
god DAMN this was a dangerous move but holy shit is it a good one like it's such a realistic direction for c!tommy to pivot to. he's probably been living under crazy stress for the past YEAR (yes. dream escaped prison a year ago), especially since the whole stunt with the disc under his house. if he can be seen, if he can be located, he can be trapped. he can be ambushed. of course he would turn to something that makes it impossible for anyone to get ahold of him unless he wants them to. not being seen, when it feels like someone is always watching you, is obviously one of the few modicums of control you could get back over your life when the person that's always watching is seen in your head as an unstoppable force. it was an absolutely insane choice, and they could have moved to drug use in ANY capacity and it would have made sense, but SPECIFICALLY INVISIBILITY was such a good move on cc!tommy's part. he's a genius for that one and thats the gospel truth
