This needs to be discussed.

Okay, so this is ridiculous and pissing me off. Some of you people need to know that

CREATING A CHARACTER DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE ‘ASKING FOR’ GROSS INTERPRETATIONS OF THEM.

JUST BECAUSE THEY SHARED THE CHARACTER ONLINE DOES NOT MEAN THEY WANT THE GROSS REACTIONS.

THESE REACTIONS ARE DISGUSTING, BUT THE CREATOR DOES NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER THEM.

JUST BECAUSE THEY SHARED, DOESN’T MEAN THEY WERE ASKING FOR IT.

Now, those who have followed me for a while (like, a long time) might know what I’m talking about. Those who don’t, I’ll give you a brief explanation.

I am a fan of @pmseymourva.

He’s funny, relatable, and his characters are amazing!!!

Unfortunately, with amazing, popular, FEMALE characters comes… icky reactions.

If you don’t know what’s happening, I suggest going to his blog and checking it out for yourself, because I’m honestly unable to explain how upsetting things are getting.

People are telling PM that he was ‘asking for these reactions when he shared that character’ which is bullshit.

PM didn’t ask for any of this.

All he did was share something he was proud of, something that made him happy, hoping to make people smile.

These gross reactions are out of his control, yet people are blaming him?

THIS. IS. VICTIMS. GUILT.

And it needs to stop.

Spread the word, send some positivity his way.

I know this post is probably really messy and maybe a bit hard to understand, but honestly I’m really upset. I might go more in depth on this at a later date.

PM, I really, really hope things get better soon. You don’t deserve this. You’re an amazing person who makes hundreds of people smile ever day. You’ve helped so many people, including me, out of rough situations just by existing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hang in there, buddy.
