I usually avoid tumblr out of shame after a binge but I wanted to make a list of all the negative feelings that come immediately after and things to remind myself next time

I feel so physically uncomfortable

I feel ugly

My clothes look ugly

Stomach cramps

Teeth feel fuzzy

Gassy

Guilt and self hate

I feel heavy and moving takes more effort

I’m bloated

I feel like a failure with no self respect or control

I feel lethargic

I’m now in a shit mood and taking it out on people around me

I feel sick

I wasted money on mid food when there are 5000 things I’d rather save money for

The short term satisfaction was not worth it. It felt good for literally the few seconds the food was in my mouth and now I hate myself

The cravings will pass

Feeling empty is so much better than feeling full

Idc if you’re on your period. Grow up

F4st1ng/r3strict1ng feels sooooo much more rewarding

However hungry you are right now, you can wait until you get home where there is plenty of healthy food that won’t make you feel guilt

No, you don’t need to buy the box of snacks just to have on hand because you can practise restraint and only have one. You will eat the whole box. Save your money, don’t even go into the shop

I’m further from my goals than I was this morning

I had come this far without binging and now I’ve ruined my progress and have to start again

I’m terrified to weigh myself tomorrow instead of excited to see how much I lost

The longer i go without a binge, the easier it gets

The post binge clarity has me stressing the fuck out but what’s done is done, all I can do now is try to be better.

How I avoid 3ating πŸ’—

as a person with parents who don’t let me skip meals !!

πŸŽ€ If they can’t see you eat, don’t eat.

For example : It feels nice to wake up early, shower, pick a cute outfit and do your makeup right? So maybe give it a try :3 bonus is u can say u don’t have enough time and take the food to ur room to β€œeat”

or maybe say smt like β€œah I want to eat in my room it’s cold here”

just come up with some excuse so u can go somewhere where ppl can’t see u eat <3

before you throw it away, if u have a chance to offer it to another person (but not in a suspicious way ofc), please do !! Bc this is just wasting food and I feel very bad every time I do it <3

πŸ’— now, for throwing it away !!

if the food is dry finger food, wrap it in paper.

if the food is wet, put it in a separate bowl, glass or some kind of box thingy !! (u can stash it in secret in your room)

if the food is entirely a liquid, down the drain.

next, u want to make it look like u ate!!

so smear the food on the plate and on ur spoon or just scatter some crumbs or whatever just so it looks like u ate

afterwards

Talk abt how nice the food was so uhh smt like β€œwow the carrots were exceptionally crunchy” to not raise suspicion :3 u don’t have to do this but if ur parents know u skip meals it’s helpful ><

if u throw it in the bin, always put something above it to not raise suspicion <3

maybe go on walks to spend the time or if ur parents don’t like it when ur out too long just stay outside in the lunch break and say u ate <3

For example if u have an upcoming test, say smt like β€œI’m so concentrated I really need to understand this I’ll eat later save some for me” and hopefully they’ll forget or go to the kitchen after some hours and make it look like u ate

especially if u did the busy thing u can maybe take a nap during lunch or just sleep early bc ur tired from all the studying and u have [insert some event u have tomorrow like a presentation or just make up an excuse]

buy smt and keep the wrapper somewhere visible and make up some excuse like ughh I ate too many chips or ahh that chocolate is giving me nausea

plus u can share ur snacks easily with ppl so js buy smt for ur friends ><

and yea that’s it TwT I’m trying to come up with more ways but I hope those helped in some way <33
