is this blackinnon? ofc it is.
Nymphadora Tonks is an incredibly smart, strong, capable witch, and she is a 23-year-old with a massive crush on an emotionally unavailable man. And that is why she will always be the most relatable character in the series to me.
James: Hello ladies
Lily:
Mary:
Marlene:
James: You may be wondering why I'm taped to the ceiling.
this is so sweet! đ¤ I NEED MORE.
(also i snorted at sirius lame excuse)
i need more on hades/persephone blackinnon and the whole padfoot situation that makes them fall in love.
It's just something small I wrote some time ago, small but silly:
The God of the underworld has been escaping the underground these days quite often. His brother, the God of shadows and dark, has found it in him to be of use lately. Sirius, taking the form of a wild beast with a very lavish fur, walked among the fields of flowers claimed by no other than the Goddess of harvest and agriculture, resting under the shadows of an elm tree.Â
There, amongst the smell of pollen and flowers that tickled his nose, and the breeze that cuddled his fur, his eyes rested on the carelessly charming daughter of the Goddess of harvest. She shared the mesmerizing fieldâ that Sirius could only dream to see in the undergroundâ with her mother.
Marlene.Â
Marlene passed her afternoons near the elm tree, taking care of her own little garden.
After Marlene had noticed the strangely huge black dog, he had been invited to be apart of her routine.
Sirius found himself escaping the realm of the dead, and joining Marlene in her gardening in his dog form until dawn.Â
Marlene was a strange Goddess. She had her mothers beauty. Slightly tanned skin with white short hair, cherry lips, and piercing big brown eyes. She treated Sirius with wine -the Lord of the underworld had no idea why she would treat dogs with wine-, from the help he did in the garden, and he was also privileged to have the gift of Marlene liking very much to talk to dogs.Â
It took Marlene a full moon cycle to know that the dog she had been carrying around was none other than the Lord of The Dead.Â
While Sirius had waited for the woman to come, he had fallen asleep.
A graze of freezing to touch fingertips woke him up, and suddenly Sirius found himself face to face with her.Â
âItâs you!â she let out a breath.Â
Sirius snapped his head down, noticing that he was in his human form. He looked down on his gray-ish hands, and black clothing, cursing at them. âI have to goââ
âWaitââ
Marlene grabbed his wrist, âWhy are you going?â
âWell, someone has to ensure that the dead wonât lose their way,â Sirius replied in a hurry to leave and escape the whatever he thought he needed to escape. "My realm can be quite difficult to navigate. A lot of right turns," he tried.
Marlene snorted and lifted her eyebrows, âI didnât know that helping the dead find their road was the God of underworldâs dutyââ
âOf coââ
â-besides, if they havenât lost their way so far they will be alright, wonât they?â Marlene grinned.Â
Sirius looked down on Marleneâs grin, and up to her dilated brown eyes. âYouâre not scared of me?âÂ
Realization seemed to hit the woman's eyes, âI would be, Lord of Dead,â she beamed, âif I hadnât taken care of a drunken dog that seemed to be you, no? Not two Suns before? Iâm afraid I've passed being scared of you, Lord."
âOh. Oh." Sirius chuckled. âWell, I suppose youâre right.â He finally relaxed his shoulders, and leaned on the tree, deciding that he might not leave yet.Â
âDoes it scare you?â Marlene asked.Â
Sirius lifted an eyebrow, amused. It had been a long time since someone asked him of fear. âWhat?â
âThat Iâm not afraid of you?â Marlene leaned on the tree as well, looking down on her garden.Â
Sirius grinned. âNo. Not at all.â
uhhh interesting, cause mostly i picture her surviving in a scenario where they win the war without losing the potters. butâŚ
judging by the letter harry found in sirius bedroom, the mckinnonâs died near harryâs birthday. so between their death and the potters are only a few month apart and in war times thereâs no much time to stop and grieve. they are only allow to feel everything and actually process what happened, what they lost, after voldemort gets wiped out.
100% marlene wouldnât have let sirius do anything stupid. at best she saves him, at worst she joins him. sheâs the witness that saves him from imprisonment (she turns to dumbledore who turn to the minister blablabla he gets a fair trial, they win).
so while they trying to help each other in their griefs, because they are so young and havenât have enough time and space to breath, i donât think they had fully figured out every aspects of their relationship, meaning they might no be solid enough for them to endure what it means losing everything they once cared of. harry, despite everything, still goes with the durleys for his own protection.
so yeah, i think their worst character traits come to play and they cannot reconcile who they are as individuals let alone as a couple. they care for each other, ofc. in the end i think it their only option if they ever aspired to keep on each other lives.
there are certain things that you can only ever learn on your own. only distance can make understand what happened. they do evolve. they do manage to get their heads above water. and possibly reunite somewhere in the future, maybe with the whole thing of voldemort coming back, harry being in danger. he finally gets two people who knew his parents and are able to tell him all kind of stories he longed to hear.
harry, in the end, brings them together and this time, they make it.
I have so many favorite hc for blackinnon, but my all-time favorite is Sirius having a bad feeling the night Marlene dies and telling her not to go home, to spend the night in his house, to stay together-- but Marlene thinks he is being paranoid and goes to visit her home, and ends up dying there with her family. I just love the idea that Sirius lives with the regret that only if he insisted more, maybe that wouldn't have happened.
Draco would thrive in theater⌠đ
sirius stole one of marleneâs rings and wears it on his pinky. marlene stole one of siriusâ and wears it on her thumb.
The way that Ron got laughed at for dancing with Minnie but the marauders would have leaped at the opportunity đđ
Sirius: This is a hard escape room. Regulus: This is a family dinner, Sirius
mary mcdonald (supermodel): if weâre talking about superficial shit then no. she didnât need any of it. not the diet pills not the drugs. but they were all the same. god, if youâd seen how she and sirius looked together you wouldnât have been able to take your eyes off of them. they were mesmerizing. together they couldâve ruled the whole world. but she didnât want any of that. they keep they relationship private. they got help from all us. we were in it together. i wasnât friends with any of them, not really, but we all tried our best to protect them. you can believe whatever you want, but if there ever were two people deserving of protection from this world, it was them.
okay, hear me outâŚ
a story written in interview format where famous rock band âmaraudersâ explain once and for all why they broke up back in 1981 following the dead of, according to the media at the time, a random groupie.
james, remus and peter have all lost contact with lead singer sirius black.
where is he now?
is he still alive?
and who was the groupie and why did it matter so much as to mark the end of such a promising band?
marlene mckinnonâs name will haunt the narrative much as she did when she was alive.
(i blame daisy jones and the six for this and damiano david cover of âella baila solaâ cause donât tell that isnât sirius singing about marlene)
how i think sirius understood he had feelings for marlene- i'm so canon u can't prove me wrong.
sirius was glad that the only person in the room was james. it was easier for him to let go of the breath he was holding in and slack his shoulders.
james, of course, knew right away that something was wrong.
"what's gotten into you? why are you wet?"
he was indeed soaking wet from the rain.
james was sat near the window, he was looking outside while playing with the stupid snitch of his.
"the rain got to me," sirius responded, closing their distance and throwing himself into the chair nearest to james. he let out a well held grown. "what are you doing?"
"i was waiting for you, mate? you're late. we made plans-" "oh, shit-"
"yeah, no shit you forgot-" james rolled his eyes. "i told remus and peter to go on. tell me what's up. there is no way you would forget a day out."
"i-" sirius looked around the room, "i fucked up."
"when don't you?" james snorted.
sirius kicked his chair, "prongs, man."
james snorted, after he regained his chair's balance, "so?"
"i was with mckinnon," sirius leaned on his knees, "i was helping her train. you really did a number on her the previous match."
"she knows me, i get heated up when shit gets fucked," james shrugged.
"i know. she said the same thing," sirius laughed, "and as mckinnon-"
"she wanted to prove me wrong?"
"yeah," sirius nodded, "so, i helped. it started to rain, she wanted to keep going. i had completely lost track of time- my bad, again, let me finish- and she reached a record- she got happy- smiling, laughing, she jumped on me before we could even land properly- and- and fuck- i don't know- i bloody tried to kiss her!"
"you what?!" james jumped from the chair.
"i did," sirius pinched his nose, "i just- she jumped, i caught her, and we were close and i just leaned in, and- and she leaned in- i think-"
"you think?! how does one think that?! weren't you there?!"
"i don't know! it felt like i wasn't- and-!"
"the last time i have seen you this worked up was when you lost your motorcycle magazine, mate-!"
"shut up-!"
"well, what happened?!"
"nothing! we just got up immediately as soon as i drew back and we said very awkward goodbyes-"
"the last time i saw you being awkward-"
"james, shut up!" sirius groaned "- and it hit me, james... when i was coming here- i think i like her. a lot."
